Customer reviews for this trader
I have used Andy (AMI windows) for many years, his approach and workmanship is exemplary . I have introduced him to friends and family who have also been highly satisfied with his work. I have no hesitation about recommending him for a professional job.
Andy was very professional and helpful in fitting my new doors. I am very happy with the quality and workmanship
Andy arrived to quote several jobs.
- Multiple window fitting.
- Window replacements.
- Bi-fold door repair.
Andy is a lovely guy to visit, who offers a fair price and great value for money with high-end quality workmanship.
We fully recommend Andy and will certainly be using AMI Windows for future need.
We chose AMI Windows because of the good service Andy has provided over many years including double glazed windows, new doors and a conservatory.
Andy also provides a good follow up service. Very reliable.
I have used AMI windows a number of times over many years for a conservatory and all my other window and door related needs. I always find Andy does a great job and is neat, tidy, reliable, friendly and value for money.
I contacted AMI Windows Ltd on the recommendation of a friend who was very happy with them and so arranged a survey and Andy turned up on time and we discussed the proposed work; two big bedroom windows initially. He is very happy to do smallish jobs like that as well as total house re-fits so that is a plus in his favour. After a short wait for the windows' manufacture we arranged a fitting date. and the job commenced. Very impressed, dust sheets everywhere, Andy beavering away quietly, no time wasting and absolutely no mess whatsoever on completion, a really professional finish too, a fantastic job well done. We've since hired him again twice, to install more windows and a door, doing the job bit-by-bit to suit our finances. Still a couple left to do, will certainly hire him again. I like the idea of supporting local independent traders who care enough to do a good job and take pride in it, rather than some nationwide outfit employing random contractors. I wholeheartedly recommend AMI Windows Ltd.
We have used AMI Windows for over 20 years in various properties. Andy always uses good quality products and provides an excellent service.
Reasonable price, excellent workmanship, would highly recommend.
Andy was very informative, gave a full breakdown of the price of the work and after agreeing the price it was carried out in a proper workmanlike manner, paying great attention to small details and completely cleaned every room he had been in.
I have no hesitation in reccomending him for any window replacements.
We have known, Andy, AMI windows Ltd for 20 years when he built & fitted an amazing conservatory for us in our cottage we owned then. Since then he has fitted windows to a whole detached house for us & done the whole house windows for our daughter's house too. All brilliant jobs. Recently he has fitted a new front door for us which we love.
Andy's workmanship, professionalism, friendliness & excellent standards & work ethic cannot be beaten.
We would recommend him to anyone!
Andy fixed 4 leaking windows for me. He always kept in touch as to when he could visit, was extremely professional, and charged a very fair price. He solved the problems straight away, where previous tradesmen had failed. Thank you very much Andy. I would always recommend you. A genuine tradesman that I would trust, and wouldn't hesitate to call you again.
The installation by Andy of Upvc windows was excellent. Efficient,
tidy, clean attention to detail, etc. Would have no hesitation in highly recommending his services.
We chose AMI on the recommendation of friends but the Trusted Trader recognition was further reassurance as to the quality of Andy's work. AMI fit outstanding quality windows and doors and do so to the
highest standard of workmanship. It is a pleasure working with Andy as he is friendly, punctual and diligent. The work was undertaken under challenging weather conditions and it is a testament to Andy's professionalism that there was no impact on us over the period of the installation. We would not hesitate in recommending AMI Windows.
AMI Windows fitted our house with 17 new double glazed windows. We
are extremely pleased with the quality of the work and attention to detail. Also with the way everything was left neat and tidy each day. Andy is a considerate and conscientious tradesman.
Andy is personable, reliable, knowledgeable and professional. The
work is done to a high standard. We would always recommend AMI
Windows.
Great service, very impressed with the fitting and finishing. Reliable and kept in contact throughout the whole process.
Andy was most professional and pleasant, on the phone, via email and face to face, felt like someone, one could trust. Very tidy job and left nice and tidy, highly recommended.
Andy did a great job replacing the friction hinges on a very large, heavy, hard wood window for me. His communication was great and he even came weeks earlier than agreed as he got the hinges early and rang to see if he could call between other jobs. Excellent service.
Andy was by far and away our best choice as he gave confidence straight away that he could repair leaks from our existing windows rather than need to fit new ones, and was prepared to fit doing this in around his bigger jobs. A great service at a very reasonable price and much less than the alternative we had expected of fitting new - thanks very much.
Andy was excellent with communication on time and did a great job
installing a new tilt and turn window at a reasonable price. He was a very clean tidy worker and tidied up before he left. Would
definitely recommend Andy.
Over the last 7 years AMI have fitted all of my windows and
conservatory and all still look brilliant. Andy always makes a really clean and neat job fitting, the extrusions are great quality and are really competitive priced. Would recommend every time!
Andy did a great and tidy job with good communication. Highly

doors.
He was punctual, competitively priced, professional, paid attention to detail and did a great job.
They did such an excellent job that we have already arranged for some further work to be carried out. All in all, an excellent company.
We have used Andy at AMI before, so we already knew he was a trusted trader and had seen his good work which didn't disappoint on this occasion either. Very friendly person.
Andy provided a fair quote for a new back door and also previously
had fixed our conservatory roof vent which had failed. He provided a good clean and friendly service. Would recommend.
I have used Andy before and recommended him to several friends. He is very professional, polite and completely trustworthy. All at a
reasonable price.
This is one company I would highly recommend! Andy from AMI Windows is a true gent, and a professional craftsman who does a highly proficient job. Offers valuable advice, and gives great service. Anything to do with windows, then AMI must be your first stop.
Andy from A.M.I. is a real professional, excellent work ethic, first class skills, and always willing to offer great advice. Andy inserted double glazing panes in my kitchen and re-caulked my existing
windows. True gent. True professional at a very competitive price.

Andy from AMI Windows did a great job in fitting out new windows and doors at our new home. Communication was great, and the price for the Timber look windows was very fair. Andy is a very neat worker, was punctual and was very conscious about adhering to Covid regulations. The windows and doors look great, we're delighted and would have no hesitation recommending AMI Windows.
Andy at AMI Windows has just completed the fitting of a solid roof to our conservatory. The standard of workmanship and the construction were first class. Andy's work ethic is exemplary, a rarity these days. If you need a job doing in the double glazing or conservatory industry, Andy is your man.
We had all our 8 windows replaced and a new composite front door
which were all done to a very high standard. We were very happy with his advice for also having the lintels replaced and his prices
overall were very competitive. We would highly recommend Andy to
anyone who needs any window work doing and we would not hesitate to use him again for a new back door.
Treated with respect. A good job done. Can be trusted.
Andy was recommended to me by another highly satisfied customer. He is a very clean worker who offers fair prices for high quality work. An exceptional tradesman with meticulous attention to detail.
