We hired Dave to replace a light fitting, fit a LED mirror and fit some additional LED strip lights. Dave is a very likeable, chatty, professional and knowledgeable guy. He was very conscientious to make sure the job was done properly and neatly. We were very pleased with his work, and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Plus, if you like Radio 2' 10 to the top music quiz, he's a great teammate.
David recently changed a couple of exterior lights for us. He arrived on time as promised,(even managed to slot us in between downpours in a very rainy week!)and completed the work quickly and for a fair price. We have used DS Electrical before for several jobs and have always been very happy with the service and work provided. I'm sure we'll see David again soon in the not too distant future!
The job was done efficiently and the results are working well. We needed help in a tricky situation and David was able to make recommendations for the best option to deal with it. David has done other work for us in previous years and always given good service.

David did a great job replacing 2 light fittings and making safe the wiring of an old redundant thermostat. He answered the phone when I first tried to contact him and he turned up on time. That's worth a lot in these times.

David came out to an urgent call on Friday afternoon. He was really helpful in trying to work out what the issue was, explaining everything to me as he was going. When he realised the problem wasn't something he could fix, he stayed with me while I was on the phone to our energy supplier arranging for them to come. This is the second time we've had Dave complete a job for us. As before, prompt, reasonably priced, tidy, and friendly. We contacted him because our shower packed up on the Friday before a Bank Holiday Monday. By the following Wednesday he had sourced an exact replacement unit, came prepared with a spare isolator chord switch just in case it wasn't the shower turned out it was definitely the shower and had it all fitted and tested within an hour. Couldn't recommend his services highly enough.

David replied to my queries very quickly and came round the following day to look at the work I needed doing. He found the lights I needed the same day and fitted them the following day. He was prompt, friendly, professional and I felt very confident with the work he has done. I will definitely call him again for any other work.
We recently purchased a new television and contacted Dave to install it on the wall in the bedroom. Dave was able to advise on the best bracket to use. He arrived when he said he would and was very professional. He ensured that everything was working and cleaned up before he left. I would highly recommend using Dave again.
We lost power to our upstairs sockets and called Dave after being let down. He arrived when he said he would and carried out remedial work to our complete satisfaction at a price we were happy with, and he was a clean and tidy worker too. Contacted in order to have a few little jobs done: check some sockets, investigate some issues we had had with fuses tripping and fit a new shower extractor fan. Turned up bang on time, came prepared to do the job then and there with different sized fans to get the best possible fit, all resolved and new fan fitted within an hour. Friendly guy, very diligent in his work, very happy to recommend and will be in contact with him again if we need similar work doing.
David fitted two living room light fittings for me. He was able to fit the job in nice and quickly. He was very efficient and friendly and I'm completely satisfied with the job done. I will definitely ask David again for any other electrical work I need in the future.
Dave came within half an hour of my call. He conducted a couple of tests and helped with restoring the lights on the kitchen extractor fan. We decided not to go ahead with investigating another problem as it would have taken 2 people all day to check/repair. Dave charged his minimum rate of £60.

Dave fitted a new consumer unit for me and also identified a problem with some of the previous circuits which he kindly fixed. He communicated well prior to arriving initially, then set a good expectation with what needed doing and phrased it so I could understand the process. A price was agreed up front before any work started. Dave arrived on time and the work was completed on time and to the standards we'd discussed and agreed. David is very reliable and arrived on time. We had him recently to install lighting and sockets in our built-in wardrobe and media wall. He was able to offer advice and solutions to enable us to have the optimum flexibly with the minimum disruption. He worked in a considerate way and tidied up after himself. I was in need of an Electrician during some work as I discovered some rather complicated wiring behind some plasterboard. David respected the choice to use a qualified tradesperson and accommodated all requests. He was able to source some parts himself while utilising some I already had. David is a fantastic electrician who quickly and efficiently fixed a major electrical fault in our home that was causing us significant headache. He is super friendly and had great communication prior to undertaking the work so we knew exactly what he would need to mess with, break, fix etc. as well as timescales and cost.
