We are a small friendly business working in and around Chesterfield; our aim is to please. We offer quality work as standard with our 15 years experience in landscaping. Our advice is always on offer but if you have your own ideas we are pleased to oblige.

After being let down several times, Roger came, gave a fair price and promise to not let us down. He didn't, came with Kyle and transformed our patio and old fence. Both were pleasant and worked hard leaving no mess. Definitely recommend.
CLR Landscapes have done an amazing job refurbishing my back garden. They were so nice and professional from getting a quote to finishing. The quote I was given, I was assured, was the amount I would pay on completion, no added extras. That is what I paid though they went above and beyond to finish it to perfection. Roger quoted what we thought was a very fair price. The job was completed in around 1 week to the highest standard. Very pleased with the standard of work, quality of materials used and the final result. A first class, family run business, good people who have real pride in their work
Roger and his team of workers did a very nice job of terracing a sloping section of lawn for me. Location and access meant a lot of manual labour which the hard working lads weren't scared of doing. Roger is keen to make sure that you get what you want, a job that lasts and one that you're happy with before he leaves. All the team are courteous and friendly. On seeing the completed job a neighbour asked Roger and his team to do work on his own garden which says it all really. Highly recommended.
We were very very pleased both with the price quoted and the job that they did. They were hardworking and polite and cleaned up after them. The quality of the work they did was excellent and we would be delighted to recommend them to family and friends.
CLR have just completed fantastic work on our new patio and transformed our garden. Roger was very competitive on price and what you are quoted is what you pay - no surprises. Michael and Luke put in so much effort over 2 weeks and were at all times professional and very polite. They also made helpful suggestions to ensure we had the best solutions for our garden project, even down to sampling different pointing colours to achieve a perfect end result. We highly recommended CLR Landscapes and Builders and would use their services again without hesitation.

We had two jobs done by CLR and were completely 4 with both. After the jobs everything was left neat and tidy. Roger was most helpful and friendly and I can thoroughly recommend him.
The customer service from this company is excellent and the work they do is first class. I wouldn't go to any other maintenance company now that I've found this one.
Just had some fencing replaced by CLR. Very pleased with job from start to finish. All done exactly as was explained when priced up and recommendations given. Area left clean and tidy and all old fencing etc removed. Will definitely use CLR again should I require future work. Thank you Roger and son.

Roger and his team did everything we asked for at a fair price. They came when they arranged and left everything clean and tidy. They built us a wonderful stone faced flowerbed and redid our deck as we required, would definitely use them again.
Needed a raised base for garden shed and steps leading down to it due to sloping garden. Roger kept me informed when they could start because of bad weather. They arrived when agreed and made a very good job of building it, used good materials and did not try to build when weather conditions were not right. Cleaned up every day and made sure I was totally 4 with work and how clean it was. I would recommend CLR Landscapes and builders.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring CLR Landscapes to tackle an unruly privet hedge that had grown out of control, and I couldn't be more 4 with the results. From the moment he arrived, it was evident that he was skilled and dedicated to his craft. He worked tirelessly to reduce the size of the hedge, ensuring a clean and professional cut throughout. Not only did he handle the trimming with great care and precision, but he also went above and beyond in cleaning up all the hedge waste. By the time he was finished, my garden looked immaculate, with not a stray leaf in sight. His attention to detail and commitment to leaving the site spotless truly set him apart from others. Moreover, he was polite, punctual, and respectful of my property, making the entire experience a positive one. If you're in need of a reliable and hardworking landscape gardener, I highly recommend his services. My garden has never looked better!
Part of my garden fence blew down in last winter's gales. CLR came and provided a reasonable estimate for the job. They arrived on time on the agreed date a week later and were pleasant and polite. The new posts and fence look very good and CLR took away the old fence. I was 5 with their work and am happy to recommend them.
Roger and the CLR Team attended to my property to install a new fence. This was no mean feat as the garden had succumb to serious storm damage and the pre-existing fence needed removing before installing the new. The team made an excellent job of it. Roger and Luke did a great job with the pond and came on the day agreed, even missing a Chesterfield home match! They were very good at tidying and cleaning up after the job and we are very pleased with their work. It was quite a big job and the price was fair, they even built in a hedgehog slope! We contacted CLR because of the glowing reviews on Trusted Trader. We were not disappointed. Roger was very helpful in turning our ideas into reality, making tactful suggestions and working out the details with us. He and his team were very hard working and considerate and we are delighted with our new patio, paving, steps, walls and path.
I can't comment on work done because the job was never started. Roger came to look, quoted to do the job, quote accepted, he said he would bring a sample of material to be used. He didn't bring the sample and no communication for weeks.
I was completely 4 with this trader. They are honest professionals with high standards and offering good value for money.

I was very lucky because I hadn't heard of CRL Landscapes before but I wanted a local firm and saw them on Facebook. Roger responded immediately to my request of a quote and ideas for my patio. Michael and Aiden who actually worked on the patio were very polite, industrious and tidy. Boards were put down to save damage to the lawn and everything was done to limit any unnecessary disruption. Everything was done on trust and and payment was only required on the completion of the work. I would highly recommend Roger and his team to anyone.
Excellent work by Stuart and Steve who worked closely with us to get the finish we imagined. This was a big project needing approx. 100 tonnes earth removing to level gardens, put in drains, build walls and lay patio's. All this and not one mark on our newly rendered property! They ensured the area was tidy and safe throughout. When additional CLR guys helped they were all polite and respectful. CLR worked with us to make adjustments during the project but kept costs fair, which with shortage in materials was a challenge. Happy to recommend from the work done for us. Thank you guys.
Did work that was asked for and more, especially under difficult times getting materials. Polite and efficient, good workmanship and fairly priced. Having them back to do more landscaping so would certainly recommend.
We have just had our front and back gardens landscaped. Fantastic results. All people connected with CLR Landscapes were brilliant workers and really happy to do anything. From Roger, who did the original plans and oversaw the work, to the two landscapers, Steve and Stuart, who did a fabulous job and Jack who did some labouring for them. We would highly recommend them for any work you may want doing.
CLR Landscape landscaped our back garden. They took up the old tired lawn, levelled the ground, laid paving slabs and a new artificial lawn. The result was a beautiful new garden. Many thanks to all the team, you did a terrific job. No problems at all, it was all left clean and tidy and done in good time.
CLR did a great job on my patio, with paving, wall and steps. They were professional and punctual throughout, on site from start to finish, the guys were polite and kept us up to speed with developments, gave us ideas and advice. I chose them primarily be cause I wanted someone local and I'd known of Roger for a while. I wasn't disappointed.
A very tired old fence that was covered in ivy needed to be removed and replaced, new fence panels in an existing run of fence, a tree to be taken out and a run down decking area to be replaced with a patio. CLR Landscapes came to quote, providing the full cost there and then which meant no waiting to hear back which was great. It took just over a week to complete, mainly because of sourcing materials due to COVID and the impact this has had on the building trade. Throughout the work I requested several changes to the original job which were actioned with no issue. The removal of the ivy caused more mess than was thought so the team added a layer of white stone over my existing boarder to freshen up the area, free of charge which was extremely kind. They cleared away, tidying down each night to ensure I could still access what was needed. The guys were lovely, very down to earth and I'd happily recommend their work.

CLR Landscapes, recently completed the replacement of a patio at our home. We chose them based on reviews on this site. The work was carried out to our total satisfaction, in the harshest of weather conditions by a very skilled team. We were consulted all the way through the project by the team, to ensure that our expectations were met. We have further projects in mind, which will certainly be contracted to Roger Nicholson and his highly recommended team. Excellent work, fair price and honest advice.

Roger's team, which were Steve and Stuart have done an exceptional job in creating a new driveway and fencing. This was no easy thing to do, as it meant removing a lot of trees and shrubs. I am disabled and they were still able to make access easy for me with their understanding and consideration. I would recommend this company to any one. Part of our double slatted fence blew down in heavy winds and the 6 posts butted against a pavement /road which meant that the foundations were too solid for me to dig safely. CLR visited, quoted and completed the work with a team of 4. They worked hard and skilfully put up the 6 posts and associated horizontals. I am really pleased with the work and recommend this company without hesitation.
Had a very large patio and front drive laid and fencing by Roger's team. They did an excellent job from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. Polite, hardworking and helpful throughout the whole process. Looks brilliant and would recommend without hesitation.

Roger's team dismantled a large shed, cleared and cemented an area at the rear of the shed, dug footings and built two retaining walls 2m high. They repaired, re-positioned and re-built the shed to a better standard. His team worked above and beyond, treated the job as if it was their own, were very polite, helpful, knowledgeable, experienced and extremely professional. Upon completion the site was cleared, cleaned and tidied to a standard we've not experienced before with other builders. I would definitely recommend Roger and his team.
