We are a small business based in South Normanton Derbyshire that offer a full range of building services. Myself and my partner have a combined experience in the building trade of over 50 years and you can rest assure your property is in excellent hands. No job is too big or small and we do offer discounts for gold card holders. We do everything from extensions to bathrooms, kitchens, roofs, we also do new rubber EPDM flat roofs with a 20 year guarantee. We also do all joinery work and plumbing. Nigel and Rob built a single storey extension and garage for us and I couldn't be happier with their work. They were very punctual despite the awful weather communicated on everything, and were very reasonable in price. I can't recommend them enough for high quality work. They even dealt very diplomatically with a very awkward neighbour! Wouldn't use anyone else and well worth the wait.
We rang LS Builders for a quote to turn an unsightly flat roof to a pitched one. Nige and Rob gave us a very fair price and started when they said they would. Fantastic workmanship, very friendly and gave us lots of advise. We would highly recommend them and have asked them to do more work for us in the near future. Very pleased.
Nigel and Rob were great right from my first contact with them. Quick to reply to any questions I had. They fitted a window into my windowless bathroom. They were prompt to arrive and get on with the work at hand tidying up and clearing the rubble as they went along. The window looks great and I will definitely be using them again for any work in the future.
I am so happy that I chose to use Nigel and Rob to build my single storey extension. They gave me a very competitive initial quote and any optional extras were agreed before they went ahead. They arrived promptly in the mornings and responded very quickly to all of my phone queries. They are both really pleasant, friendly and trustworthy, and I was more than happy to leave them with a key when I needed to go out. They organised and co-ordinated the other tradesmen - electrician, plumber, etc. for me. Nothing was too much trouble to them and I will definitely use them again.
LS Building was contacted for renovation of a ground floor bathroom flat-roof. Nigel/Rob promptly visited the site and provided a clear and detailed quote for what work they assessed was required. On commencement they worked methodically to remove the felt and disintegrating chipboard deck. They consulted/discussed on site additional requirements to replace rotted timber. Additional insulation was added where required. The workmanship was good and carefully carried out. The site debris was cleared to skip and left tidy. A couple of personable chaps who we would recommend.

I've used Nige and Rob over the years and have them booked in to install a new patio. They are down to earth, know exactly what they're doing and give advise where required. First class service and workmanship. We needed a new roof, the rain was coming in, in various places. Nigel came to quote for it, arrived when he said he would and quoted us a competitive price. As they are so busy, we had a wait, the time of year and weather affecting the start date. However, it was well worth it. We are delighted with the results; the new roof looks amazing. The team worked quickly and efficiently and were always polite and courteous. I would highly recommend Nigel and the team and would not hesitate to have them back. This is my second job that Nigel and Rob have done for me recently, what can I say they are punctual, tidy, great workmanship, they gave good advice I would definitely have them again. If you want honest hardworking builders then call Nigel and Rob they won't let you down.

I can highly recommend Nigel and Rob - LS Building Services. We are thrilled with our kitchen/sun room reconfiguration and utility extension. Their workmanship is excellent, they are very approachable and were able to sort out any problems as they arose. They were very accommodating and discussed which were the best options for us during the project. They came when they said they would and were on time each day and they also responded to our messages. The project took the time they estimated it would to complete. We would highly recommend these experienced builders and we would definitely use them again.
Look no further these are THE BEST! I cannot recommend Nigel and Rob highly enough! We used them for our first floor extension of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. We couldn't be happier with it, or our choice in using LS Building Services. Their communication is excellent, they kept us fully informed all the way along, before, during and after, checking building control were happy and that we were happy with everything which we are, so happy. They didn't burden us with any problems at all, just professionally sorted everything out and organised plumbers and electricians on our behalf, all of whom arrived like clockwork. Their work is to an excellent standard, we've had so many nice comments from people as we live on a busy road and lots of people pass by. Nothing is too much trouble, I tested that out once or twice and their response was that they just wanted me to be happy with everything once they'd finished. I've already recommended them to friends. We've renovated our whole house back to brick over the past few years, my only regret is that we didn't find them sooner! We'll never use any other builder again! Top Chaps!
I would recommend Rob and Nigel, if you want highly skilled builders who carry out work of the highest standard. They are both hard workers who turn up when they say they will and put in a full days work. They are friendly, professional and most importantly honest. I was kept informed about every stage of the building of my extension and am very happy with the result. I will certainly be using them again if they will come back!
Absolutely fantastic service and top quality work. Nigel and Rob undertook work on our conservatory, replacing the old poly carb roof with lightweight plastic tiles and replacing the old wooden windows and doors with UPVC. Internally the ceiling was plastered and spot lights fitted. They arrived promptly each day and put in a full days work everyday that they were here. They kept us fully informed of all developments and any potential cost implications along the way; they were both very polite with a good sense of humour. More than excellent value for money and their work standard is completely impeccable. We would highly recommend LS Building Services and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Excellent service provided by Rob and Nigel, they came and gave competitive quotes for the work that we required doing. Once agreed they came on time every day to carry out the works to a very high standard. Could not be happier with the results especially the new stairs.
