First time I have used Andy, he did some fence panel replacements for me. He did a great job, very pleased with the result and the price, so I will definitely use him again for future work.

We've hired Andy twice to do small repairs and put pictures/curtain poles up. He's done a fantastic job every time. He's very professional, careful and thorough as well as a very nice bloke. He needs to charge more! I have no hesitation in recommending his services.
Andy and Marie did a great job decorating my hall, stairs and landing. Andy also did a few odd jobs for me. They were friendly, hardworking and did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to employ them again and would definitely recommend them.
Andy did an excellent job replastering our kitchen and then repapering our dining room. He also built brand new boxing for the pipework in the kitchen and replaced the skirting boards in the kitchen and dining room. Marie then painted all of the new woodwork and walls in both kitchen and dining room. The end result was Fantastic!! We are very pleased! What a great Team, highly Recommend these guys.

As a woman in senior years who lives alone, I'm careful when I select workpeople, as I've had some rogues around in the past. Thankfully, Andy Selden is set in a different mould. Andy's single sentence philosophy says it all, he ticks all the boxes - a polite, respectful, tidy worker with reasonable charges. Has completed several jobs for me, including refitting my kitchen cupboard, topping up my loft insulation to building regs. Standard, a small, silly job which had defeated me - re-attaching the light pull in the bathroom. He understands how important it is to just get these things done. He worked on my toilet, renewing the syphon unit, handle and determinedly dealing with a very persistent leak caused by the work. He replaced my broken ball valve, water inlet and worked for over an hour without charge as goodwill for the leak. I'm passing his details to my friends. I hope this doesn't make him too busy to work for me again, but he sets the bar high by his example. Thank you Andy.
Marie and Andy did an excellent job on removing the wallpaper, removing a cupboard and making good the plaster in a bedroom. We recommend Marie and Andy for their professional approach to the job.
Andy's work and service is brilliant. He did a number of jobs for us over a couple of days including decorating our bathroom, renewing bath sealant, repairing some outside brickwork, adjusting a gate and replacing the catch, and making and fitting a shed door. A fair price, prompt and reliable service - 10/10 from me.
Gave us a quote for new flooring in the hall. We agreed a start date and Andrew arrived as arranged. Extremely pleasant and carried out the flooring to a high standard. Cleaned up when finished and the cost was under the quoted price. Extremely happy would recommend Andrew's business to anyone.

I have used Andy for a number of different jobs over the years and always been very impressed and satisfied with the quality of his workmanship. The latest project involved over boarding and skimming our kitchen ceiling followed by painting to our specification. The work was undertaken in a professional manner with minimal disruption over a number of days and to a fair and reasonable price.

Andy boarded the full length about half width of our loft. Fitted a loft ladder and a new loft hatch. Did a very good job in difficult circumstances, hottest day of the year so far. Completed in a day and a half and at a reasonable price.

Set up a partition wall to convert a large bedroom into two smaller rooms. Andy worked efficiently and did a really good job, completed and painted within a week, and left everything tidy after finishing.
Andy has just boarded our loft and fitted a loft ladder in 'sauna like' conditions due to the extremely hot weather and without complaint. He is very skilful, hardworking and very tidy and we would not hesitate to recommend him. Thank you Andy for a superb job.

Andy was the first responder of three traders I contacted about my fencing job. He was prompt, professional and easy to work with. The quote to replace nine fencing panels was fair and the work has been completed to an excellent standard. As a remote Landlord it was essential that I had complete trust in the tradesperson I contracted and from the outset Andy proved to be trustworthy. He has since been back to complete further work and I have no hesitation in recommending him or his work. Excellent trader who does exactly what he says he is going to do, on time. Andy came very punctually, and fitted a very awkwardly-situated curtain rail, in an old house, well. However, it turned out that the curtain was too heavy for the rail, no guidance in its accompanying instructions, and that the existing curtain hooks would not go through the new runners. He improvised an entirely satisfactory, long-term solution, and made the whole thing work so one wouldn't know it wasn't the maker's original intention. If this sounds a simple job, it wasn't! There was the minimum of mess, and though it took him quite a lot of extra time, he did not ask for more than he had quoted. We gave him more, but were impressed by his attitude - much more interested in getting the job done well than finishing within the time, or charging more when it took longer. We would not hesitate to ask him to work for us again, and would contact him direct - we found the Bart website impossible to get back into. Thank you, Andy.
