The Alison Builders Story Alison Builders is a family run business which was established in 1985 rapidly expanding throughout the eighties and nineties from an initial labour force of 3, to the beginning of the noughties, when the company had 12 full time workers. The growth continued unaffected by the collapse of the industry in 2008 mainly due to the attention to detail and striving to give a top class end product reasonably priced! Our current workforce includes bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, plasterers, roofers, joiners, damp-proofers, dry stone wallers, as well as a team of semi-skilled operatives to back up all of our skilled tradesmen. We can also offer you a service that includes professional assistance with the design of your project including drawings ready for planning and building control approval with a choice of brick and natural stone build, with either UPVC, hardwood or softwood windows. Being your local builder, we are ideally placed for any emergency insurance work with no job being too small as we are well aware that for most of us our home is our most precious and important possession, we will respect that and treat it accordingly. The Company boasts a customer base of over ten thousand satisfied customers and often carries out work for up to 3 generations of the same family, also being one of the original Derbyshire Trusted Trader members. Situated in Oakerthorpe we are ideally placed to carry out work up to and including Derby, Mansfield, Chesterfield and Nottingham.
