Where do I start? My 84 year old mother had been scammed by 2 tradesmen pretending to be roofers. The first one she knew and trusted and started the job but after a few weeks started making lame excuses why he couldn't continue. The second one came and basically promised her he would finish it to a high standard making her believe her nightmare would be over soon. He did finish it but to the standard that would shock anyone who saw it. We didn't even know until the scaffolding firm came and alerted us. So thousands of pounds later, we were left needing it replacing and quickly as it wouldn't withstand a heavy rain fall never mind the winter. After reporting it to trading standards etc. it was time to find a reputable understanding roofer who could help and that's where we found Holt Roofing on Derbyshire Trusted Traders. Josh arrived. Very understanding. Not judgemental or patronising but a genuine concerned man who sat and listened. Assessed the roof. Then shocked us by saying he would do the roof and not charge anything for labour. Plus they would start the job the following week! We couldn't have been more relieved and thankful. Josh and his lads came and completed the roof in a week. Its beautiful and perfect and we are so happy and can't thank Josh enough. The workmanship and care is outstanding. I'd recommend Holt Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof. A real gentleman and a lifesaver. Thank you Josh and your team. Heroes don't always wear capes!
Really glad to have found Holt Roofing as previous roofers have all been disappointing. Josh has been reliable and communicated well throughout. The team were respectful and tidy and they responded promptly when an issue was raised such that we have had them back for a second job since.
Responsive company; Josh came to the house within a day of calling and provided a fair priced quote. The new roof was needed urgently and the workman came out on a Sunday. They worked hard and were respectful of us and the property. Very happy with the standard of work and would highly recommend Holt Roofing.
