We had a complete re-roof 3 years ago, it goes without saying that the guys did a fantastic job. Liam and his team were flawless, I cannot say more than the other reviews, 5 stars all the way. Fast- forward 3 years and we needed to install a fibre broadband cable into the attic. One phone call to Liam, and he had guys on-site within the hour to assist the IT fella and install the cable perfectly. No charge. That's what I call proper customer service. Cheers lads!!

We and many others highly recommend Lords Roofing for roof repair or replacement, in or near Chesterfield. They are accredited by the Derbyshire Trusted Trader scheme, a more reliable recommendation than a listing on the country-wide trader scheme that most of us know about. When we contacted Lords about a damaged roof that needed urgent repair, Liam came promptly to assess the problem, and advised that a full replacement would be a better long-term option although that would cost us more now. His team weather-proofed the damaged area, and an estimated date for a roof replacement was arranged. They kept us informed about schedules. The team who came to do the work were fantastic - hard-working, skilled, enthusiastic, safety- conscious, friendly, considerate. When the roof was done, they cleaned and tidied the area, and rubble was removed. Very pleased. Bottom line - if you need to have something done to your roof, get properly qualified and highly rated people like Lords Roofing to do a quality job.
Liam's advice during his first visit was extremely helpful. Because of the urgency of the roof repair, he immediately instructed his team to spend the day installing a temporary solution to my damaged roof and he wouldn't even allow me to pay for it either. Liam was very kind and he knew I was already quite upset caused by a fake roofer's scam the day before. Because of the emergency of the repair, Liam prioritised its timing among his other busy projects. The team Liam sent to replace the whole roof to my house and the garage was wonderful as expected. Andrew and Ali were very polite and experienced. They worked safely and fast. Lords Roofing is a wonderful company which I trust absolutely and would fully recommend it to anyone. Liam and his team are the most professional people I have had do work in years. Not only did they put us a new roof on our bungalow, replaced a section of flooring in lounge but also put a new roof on porch. Everyone was polite friendly and very clean, also kept us informed on things they found and also gave us the information to get our new roof inspected. I am very pleased with a complete re-roofing done by Lords. It was not a straightforward job due to the very old age of the house, the roof being in different sections, and restricted site access. Nevertheless Liam and team enthusiastically found solutions whenever needed and always kept me in touch with key decisions, making some helpful suggestions along the way. The team turned up to start the work on the promised day and finished by the promised day, arriving on time every day in between. They were pleasant, very hard working, respectful and clearly took pride in their work. Liam did regular site visits to monitor progress and to answer any questions. The work included reusing existing tiles where feasible, installing new Velux heritage windows, new gutters and downpipes and repointing chimneys - which all look great and in keeping with the character of the house. I definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend Liam and lords roofing enough. Fairly priced, workmanship is outstanding, turned up when they said they would, tidied up after themselves and Liam came to site on multiple occasions to make sure we were happy and to ensure the job was progressing smoothly. We will not use anyone else for any of our roofing needs.
All the guys were friendly. They told me what they were doing and made sure I was happy with it prior to the job. They did the job in a timely manner and even came back on a Saturday to make sure the job was done within a week. They ensured that the roof did not leak when they left at the end of the day. Very happy with the job they have done and will be going back to Lords for any future roof needs. Laura was especially helpful and friendly on the phone when booking in the job.

Working with the Lords team was so easy and pleasant, I wish I'd have gone straight to them rather than getting booked in, delayed and generally run around by other roofers! Liam and Laura were easy to communicate with, super responsive and up front about the work, costs and timings. When it came to the actual work, the team of roofers were fast, respectful and friendly. Led by Alex who was the nicest guy, funny and hard working, the team made sure they cleaned up at the end of every day to the point where it was actually cleaner than when they arrived! They got on so well with the neighbours, even entertaining the toddler next door who watched them from the window! The work was all completed faster than expected and to a good standard, the house and garage roofs now look perfect. Both Alex and Liam said if there are any issues in the future they wouldn't hesitate to come round and sort anything out. Overall I couldn't have hoped for a better experience from Lords, thank you!
The company have just replaced our flat roof on Derby Road along with 2 neighbours at the same time, complete professionalism all the way, three very hard working, polite lads, absolute perfectionists, can't praise them highly enough. Liam talked us through the most cost effective solutions, saving us the cost of a new roof. The boys stripped and cleaned up the ridge replacing the old tiles with better ones; then replaced the guttering. They were always courteous and polite, insisting nothing was too much trouble as they did a first class job. I highly recommend this company.

Couldn't recommend Lords Roofing and Sons enough. We had complications along the way as structural engineering drawings were missing calculations for beams needed. Thanks to Liam and his lads for spotting this, as this would have been a very costly mistake. We are very happy with how the extension hipped roof looks. Liam and his lads have given us loads of tips and advice as this is going to be a self build / renovation project.

I asked Lords roofing to provide a quote for the removal of solar tubes, making good the roof and general assessment of the roof overall and for any further work to be done. Liam arrived at a mutually agreed date and time. He instantly came across as friendly, knowledgeable and honest. He provided a quote adding it would be plus VAT. The team arrived and removed the tubes safely and efficiently in sub-zero temperatures. They returned two days later to complete the job by pointing up where necessary. From the first telephone call to Lords Roofing and Sons Ltd, to completion, the project has been impeccable. Liam attended the site, a 122m2 area serving as a roof for two flats to address the major problems of leakage. Liam fully understood the problem and suggested the solution. Because flats were involved Lords arranged for the whole area to covered with a scaffolded roof to keep everything dry, a first-class operation by the scaffold team and a good start. The Lords roofing team arrived on site at 08-00 started work to remove the main roof surface. In my time in Management Service, I have never come across a contract team that worked so hard and efficiently with every one knowing exactly what to do, they showed a pride in what they were doing and cleaned up throughout the removal. All requirements for the job arrived on time as needed, the replacement roof was laid with the same level of professional pride throughout. The whole operation was smooth with no hiccups, a complete professional service carried out with a sense of Pride in what they do. A company I would highly recommend. Liam and his guys are great and did a fantastic job of replacing our old roof.
I got in contact with Lords Roofing when I noticed a leak in my hallway ceiling upstairs. I'd spoken with Liam who had arranged to come out and see me the next day on such short notice. Liam came and assessed the leakage, took some photos of possible leak area and said he would be in touch. Liam then contacted me 2 days later saying he could send his work men round in the afternoon to go up on the roof and find the problem. Liam then contacted me again a couple hours later saying the problem had been fixed it was all sorted and nothing else required. Lords Roofing went above and beyond in such a short amount of time. I would highly recommend this company. They're so friendly, informative and passionate about achieving their goals to satisfy the customer. It felt so nice to be reassured that the problem was fixed so quick especially due to the colder weather coming in. If a problem ever arises in the future I would definitely be giving Lords Roofing a call as they were so efficient. I would not go anywhere else.

I have had a lot of work done on my property recently. Unfortunately I have not been impressed by the quality of the work, having to have things re done and repaired. This was not my experience with Liam and his team. Everything went to plan and was coordinated to the highest standard. The scaffolding and work was exceptional. The team worked very hard, were polite, professional and efficient. They cleaned after the work was done. The scaffolding and skip were removed in a timely manner. Because I have issues they even came back to put my washing lines within an hour of calling them. Paperwork and all queries were dealt with in an efficient and effective manner. I wish all tradesmen had the same pride in delivering this quality of work to their customers. I would 100% recommend Lords Roofing, something I would not do if I was not satisfied. I will be booking my next piece of work knowing I will get the best service and prices for the job. A big thank you to all the team.

*Customer Feedback* I have an issue with either damp or a leak in a chimney breast and asked Lords Roofing to come out due to all of their good reviews. They spent a few minutes looking at the roof from outside the house and decided they didn't know what the problem was. When I wasn't thrilled with this answer they told me they don't have a magic wand. They weren't interested in looking at the marks inside the house for more than a few seconds and never offered to go into the loft to check for any issues. It was obvious that they just didn't want to be there or provide any advice or help. I had another roofer out the next day who identified the problem and provided me advice on the matter. I'm very disappointed with this company. If they didn't want the job I would have preferred they tell me this from the outset rather than waste my time. *Traders Reply* Thank you for the review even if it's not a positive one. On greeting I asked what the problem was and you explained it was damp issues around the chimney breast. From the outside, I realised you had already had the chimney removed externally and it was also clear to see you had a brand new roof which you informed me had been installed under a year ago. I recommended you get the original roofer back to investigate and hopefully rectify it free of charge instead of paying for work to be done with a new company. All full roof replacements with our company come with at least a 10-year guarantee which is promised and stuck too. I am sorry to hear you are not happy with our service, however I personally feel that I did what any genuine company would have done and advised you to go back to the company that you have recently paid thousands too. I take great pride in my business and frequently walk down someone's path explaining they don't need anything doing. Thank you for your feedback and even though we haven't done work for you, my only intention was to save you money.
Needed a completely new roof and after researching local roofers we settled on Lords roofers to do the work. We couldn't have made a better decision to be honest. The two lads that came to do the work were very pleasant and courteous and I have to say, very professional in their approach to the job and diligent in the execution of the work. As a retired Principal Engineer, but not in domestic building services and don't know a great deal about roofing, what I do know is, I can spot a quality job a mile a way and quality is written all over this job. We're, my wife and I are as they, over the moon with the new roof and Lords roofers particularly.

Lost a tile off the roof on a Friday. Rain forecast Tuesday. Very wary about finding a roofer but recommendation and Trusted Trader brought us to Lords Roofing. Very local, great feedback so gave them a try. Great job. Very courteous and polite, quick, clean and efficient. Also gave the rest of the roof a once over as we wondered if the tile loss was indication of a pending roof replacement but no, all was fine other than the condition of the chimney which needs re-flashing and repointing. No hesitation in booking them to do the job, or recommending them to others.
Liam and the business gave a good level of service from the outset, we received a fair quote and the work was carried out to a good standard in the timeframe given. Liam also went up on our roof and took a video of the numerous issues we had and let me view and receive a copy of his video. I would use them again for any roofing requirements and I would recommend them to others.

Saw Lords at work nearby. Work rate and finish impressed. Liam gave quote and start date. Weather delayed start day by a week but that was to be expected. Bartek and Ben worked very well together, coffee almost on the hour sustained them and despite rain and wind finished and cleared up in good time, leaving house dry and my roof looking great. We had our original slate roof completely redone after it took some major damage in the recent winter storms. Liam had some of the team out within a day to get us watertight until the works could be started. We had an issue with a significant amount of water coming through the roof when it rained. Liam came around on the Friday and promptly arranged for scaffolding to be erected the following Monday and for a team to come on Monday afternoon and make the roof water-tight until a proper repair could be done. We needed work doing on the roof and the gutters so he arranged for us to be fitted in quickly and his team did a brilliant job, re-doing the roof, fixing the gutters and two new Velux windows at a very competitive price and all expertly done. The teams working on the house were extremely friendly, very competent and were always keen to ensure we were happy. A special mention must go to Laura in the office who organised the work and kept in touch with us throughout the whole process to ensure we were happy. We consider ourselves fortunate to have used Lords and would happily do so again, though given the quality of the work I suspect that won't be necessary!

We can't rate Liam and his team highly enough. They replaced two flat roofs at our property. From start to finish they were extremely professional. They removed the old felt coverings and took all the rubbish away leaving everything clean and tidy after each days work. Their job was made more difficult as at the time we were experiencing stormy weather but this didn't faze them. They worked through it, leaving our property watertight when necessary. A special mention has to go to Shane who is not only extremely polite and respectful of your property, but also obviously takes great pride in his work. We recently had a leak in our roof having only moved into the area last year we did not know who to approach to get an honest appraisal of what was the best solution. We had seen several roofs in the area being replaced and the majority were being done by Lords Roofing. Liam arranged for his team to come out and stop the leak. He visited us and we agreed the best option was to replace the flat roof on the Dorma and the rest of the roof at the same time. Extremely happy with Lords Roofing. A really professional team run by Liam, other than problems with terrible weather the whole job ran smoothly from the scaffolders to the skip being there on time. The roofers are a great bunch of friendly guys, and did a great job both in fitting the roof and clearing up the mess afterwards. My main roof looks great, not only my opinion but that of my neighbours. My flat roof which was completely rotten and leaking and caused me so many problems, now also looks great. Good service from start to finish.

Lords replaced my felt double garage and front of house flat roofs with fibreglass, as well as installing a dry ridge system on the main roof. Liam came to give me a quote, and a start date was agreed. If the roof leaks in the intervening time, Lords will repair it temporarily for free . The Lords tradesmen, Shane and Keg, could not have been more professional in their approach. I trusted Shane's judgment as we went along and he went to extreme lengths to get things 'just right'. Everything was left very clean and tidy. And all while battling a September heatwave! Lords on-site tradesmen are backed up by a slick shuttle service from their yard, bringing in supplies and taking the rubbish away very quickly. Overall, an incredibly good job was done by Liam and his staff, and I am very pleased with the result. And what they offer represents excellent value for money too!

Cannot rate this company high enough! From the initial quote to having my roof replaced they have been fantastic throughout. The 2 lads they had working at mine were so lovely that they even waved hello from the scaffolding to my little lad when I brought him home in the evening my boy was ready to join them up the scaffolding at only 22 months old. I do feel I need to put my point across regarding the price issue though. Upon visiting your property, I did state where possible we try and do work the old way by working off of a ladder and crawler to keep the price down on scaffolding. We did still do this on your job even though your property is a tall Victorian steep pitch roof which was not ideal. We sent two trained roofers on a good wage to carry out the work. They were both on the roof doing different aspects of the job simultaneously which might be the reason it was around 3 hours. After paying for their wages, materials, vans, diesel, insurance, tools, public liability, ladders, crawlers etc (as you can imagine it all quickly mounts up?). The price was £1000+VAT which you will be now looking at Lords for a solid 10-year guarantee. I pride myself as I always have done on: 1) doing a good job with quality materials 2) never ripping anyone off 3) abide to my guarantees Overall, I think you had a fair price with a guarantee you can trust. Liam has a great team of guys working for him. Steve and Jordan are friendly, polite and just get on with the job. Graham joined them to help out on the second half of the job. They were all efficient and quiet with no bad language whatsoever. What was expected to take a week to 10 days, was actually finished in just 3 days! Lords are a professional outfit, perhaps a little more expensive than some roofing companies but you will be hard pressed to beat the quality of work that is carried out to a high standard.

Wonderful staff at Lords Roofing and Sons Ltd. Not only have they made a superb job repairing our garage roof, Alex even got my washing off the line today as it was pouring down with rain. The entire process from quote to completion has been brilliant. Every member of the staff from the office to the team on the roof have been lovely, polite, open and supportive. I had a whole 70 year old roof replaced, soffits, fascias, guttering, partial loft boarding, chimney service and insulation. Both our chimneys needed work, one to be partially removed and the other to be repointed along with replacing the main gutters. I got a few quotes and as Lords was very competitive, I entrusted the job with them. I didn't have to wait too long before they were able to start. Liam was very prompt in responding to my initial enquiry and prides himself on responding quickly to ongoing queries. A full re-roof, re-guttering and chimney repair work was carried out in late November/mid December 2020. A team of 2, with an occasional 3rd person when necessary, worked on the entire job. The whole process was less noisy and less dirty than I'd anticipated and the surroundings to the house were kept tidy throughout which was appreciated. The end result looks good and it is a relief to know that the roof is now in sound condition again.

We had a couple companies doing the work on the roof and we were not happy with their work. Then we started to look on Trusted Trader recommendation. Liam came very soon after we contacted him and gave us a quote and said the company is giving 10 years guarantee on their work. We waited about month until work started. Despite the difficult situation with social distancing his team of 2 guys were able to work. They have been very polite, we literally didn't know they are there working. They took all the mess away and cleaned afterwards. They informed us what they do and why. The price was reasonable and if we would need anything else we definitely would use them again. We already recommended them to our neighbours.

Excellent, could not rate them higher. Job started 6 January and finished three and a half weeks later as they said. The windows were then cleaned as part of the job and now we have a new roof and clear windows. They team were all extremely polite and courteous and always made sure the place was tidy at the end of the day. Liam is always at the end of the phone.
