Established in 2007, Direct Stairlifts Ltd are your local stairlift family run business. We specialize in both straight and curved stairlifts, available for either purchase or rental. We are able to install same day when required. Our new showroom at Stores Road has all the latest models available to try without any obligation. Ample free parking is available outside the showroom and we have user friendly toilets. All our engineers live locally and are available 24/7 for repairs/surveys and servicing. *Customer Feedback* This company has left me without a stairlift, for 3 days. We got in touch with them, or tried to, over the weekend. Come Monday they still, hadn't arrived by lunch time. I phoned again they said they would come. So I phoned them, I was angry as I was in a lot of pain because of having no stair lift. They say they will come out 24/7, well not for me they didn't, and if you complain they refuse to come out, they threaten you with this. Whatever you do, don't have them. *Traders Reply* I would just like to say that we are saddened that this customer feels disgruntled with our service. I have looked back at our records, and it shows that we had attended to do a repair on her lift that required an internal gear that we can only obtain from the stairlift manufacturer. Sadly when this is the case, we become a third party for the short amount of time it takes for them to post on to us. Sadly one or two parts are a manufacture supply only part, and we are forced to have to wait like everyone else. As far as our 24/7, we have a 24/7 phone line which is answered or at the very least we can call back if we have missed a call, The stairlifts that we install have diagnostic abilities so we can ascertain the issues without actually being there and I can only imagine that on this occasion we knew that the only action would be to have the part ordered to correct the stairlift. I am also saddened that she felt that she was threatened with us not attending to her. We know that people's emotions can get the better of them at times as maybe there are other things happening that are contributing to the issues they are having with a failed stairlift, we get that. I will be contacting this customer to express our apologies
