The windows that have been fitted have been designed/made to be as close as possible to the original wooded windows that in hindsight should never have been replaced with PVC ones. Where appropriate they have been fitted from the inside as they were originally rather than what would be the norm of fitting from the outside. Excellent job in doing all this and very satisfied with the end result both inside and outside.
We had new windows all around our cottage, the workmanship is excellent and the windows look beautiful. Communication was excellent throughout and the team that came to fit them where very professional and polite. They worked very hard to complete the job within the deadline. Our property was respected at all times and any mess was cleared away instantly. The windows and your team of craftsmen and fitters are a credit to your company. I had great difficulty in finding a contractor to replace 2 of 5 panes in an upstairs wooden window. Phillips came soon after initial contact and replaced the two windows about 3 weeks afterwards. I found Phillips very professional in every way.

At last the garden gate is fixed. Other joiners have tried before, but now the gate support has been made properly upright by Phillips and the gate is working properly. We also have had an internal door/wall made and this has been done carefully, with a lot of effort going into matching other doors for colour/finish. Communication has been timely and professional. Very pleased.

Our 1930s Bay window with original stained glass In the top lights was in a very bad way. Original window frames and sill rotten. Variety of companies said I should just give up on this original feature. Philips Joinery were different. That have done a quality repair that means we now have a fully double glazed window with the original stained glass still in place. Original 100 year old stained glass craftsmanship on display with no drafts. Really happy to recommend their workmanship and attention to detail.

An excellent refurbishment of main gates to drive and side gate to rear of house. Good craftsmanship provided by workshop and site teams with great care exercised in detailed woodwork, re hanging, finishing and even repainting the gate ironmongery. An outstanding piece of work.
We were recommended to use Phillips Joinery by a friend. They did a fantastic job installing new windows and doors and building an oak framed porch. They listened to our ideas and requests and adapted accordingly. The men who did the installation were all very professional, courteous and helpful. I cannot recommend them too highly and we will 100% use them again.

Very pleased with standard of work, materials and communication. This is the third phase of work completed by Phillips sympathetically on a listed building, this time repairing wooden casement windows and installing unobtrusive secondary aluminium framed glazing. Made a big difference already and I would have no hesitation recommending Philips to others. Staff are pleasant, courteous, professional and reliable.
The guys did a great job and although not a big job for them they took time and care to make sure everything was right. They are a credit to the company. I picked Phillips Joinery on the recommendation of my insurer. Seeing the Trusted Trader accreditation also helped. All the work done was to an exceptionally high standard. The joiner replacing broken double glazed windows was particularly skilled. Everything was finished tidily, efficiently and in a timely manner. Finally, I believe the pricing was very competitive. It's always good to support local skilled craftsmen.
I'm very impressed with the quality of my new doors. Even our neighbours commented how beautiful they are and how quickly and professionally the guys undertook the work. Phillips Joinery have fitted four external doors and one window for us over the last couple of years and on each occasion they arrived on time, were always polite and tidied up after themselves. The doors are expensive but they are bespoke and the quality is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this company.
