About Advanced Plumbing & Heating
Installation of heating systems and plumbing. We aim to get things right first time; our heating engineers are perfectionists. A number of testimonials can be viewed on our website. The originals, along with others, can be viewed in the office. We service and repair all makes of boiler. Whilst our main focus is boiler installations, we offer the additional services: bathroom installations, radiator installations and replacements, the installation of fires, fireplaces and surrounds, power flushing and Solar Thermal. We also issue Landlord Certificates following Gas Safety Checks on all gas appliances.

I contacted APH to replace a faulty bath tap/shower hose. Ivan and Oliver were timely, extremely courteous and efficient. The work they carried out was superb, and no mess was left behind. I would highly recommend APH for any work you need doing. I certainly wouldn't go with anyone else, now.
APH offered a fantastic service. The shower issues were resolved quickly and efficiently and no further problems have arisen since. The price was reasonable and the colleague was knowledgeable and friendly and tidied up afterwards.

APH recommended by a friend. Our boiler packed up on a weekend, spoke to Mark on the Sunday and by 4pm on Monday we were fitted with a new boiler. Absolutely exceptional service, the 2 Simons and Oliver who fitted our boiler were knowledgeable, friendly and polite, Oliver spoke to us about his apprenticeship you could tell he was really enjoying it, their service is 5 star, cannot thank them enough. Will definitely use again and also recommend. Really good doing business with such a brilliant company.
We contacted APH to replace our shower and fix a stuck stopcock . They responded positively and phoned back twice as arranged. A plumber attended the following day on time. Shower replaced and problematic stopcock replaced - as were all under sink pipes. Excellent efficient service.
The level of service was exceptional. Simon came round the following day to quote for repairs and a quote for a new boiler. We decided to have a new boiler in the end and what a great decision it was. Professional, quick and tidy. We would recommend these guys without a second thought.
Simon was able to come out the same day I contacted APH and confirmed what I suspected, that 12+ yr old Baxi was beyond economical repair. Simon suggested replacing conventional boiler with Combi Alpha Evoke 33, meaning I could free up space in bathroom by removing cylinder and pipework and the tanks in the loft so eliminating risk of frozen pipes/jammed ball valves. Quoted a fair price and was able to book the work for the following week. Piotr arrived as scheduled and assisted by Ivan/Oliver worked tirelessly over 3 days to swop the boiler and alter pipework as necessary with impressive attention to design and detail, minimal disruption during the work and the property was left tidy at the end of each day. Piotr was quick to resolve issues, property is late 1800's and listed so legacy pipework took some detective work and kept me fully involved/informed throughout. Very happy so far with the new boiler and the 10 yr warranty gives peace of mind. Based on this experience I will use APH for annual boiler service and future plumbing needs and intend to have them look at updating radiators and fitting a new bathroom in Spring 2023.
Simon came to service an old boiler for an elderly friend who lived alone but boiler was condemned. Clearly explained the options and gave what I felt was a good price for fitting a new combi boiler. The quote was accepted and David and Ivan came to fit the new boiler 2 days later. They did an excellent job, fitting the boiler very neatly, tidying up after themselves and clearly explaining how to use it. Couldn't fault them and thoroughly recommend the company.
With our hot water tank having sprung a leak and an ailing boiler we were most pleased when Simon from A.P.H. explained our options and supplied a written quotation with the promise of prompt installation. The engineer tasked with the work Mark laboured tirelessly and did an excellent job installing the new boiler and two extra radiators. He and his team covered all the carpets with protective material and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. It was particularly helpful to have any queries answered immediately with full explanation of what was taking place. The fact that some of the work involved being confined in a very hot loft space made it a most arduous task carried out without complaint. My wife and I are most pleased to commend Mark and have no hesitation in recommending A.P.H. to carry out this type of work.
We phoned APH to describe problems with our central heating boiler. They then arranged for a visit to assess what was wrong and came that afternoon. It quickly became clear that, after 15 years, a replacement was needed and the boiler should not be used. Simon explained the problem and recommended a new boiler. As we were now without heating or hot water he arranged for the work to be done the following day. Peter arrived as scheduled and proved to be helpful; efficient; informative and meticulous. He kept us in touch with what was happening and ensured that everything was working properly, and that we understood it, before he left. Further, in spite of the drilling, water draining, etc. he left no mess. We could not be more pleased with the new boiler and the service and support especially from Peter that we received and would unreservedly recommend the company.
Stewart and Ivan arrived promptly very friendly and worked solidly for 4 1/2 hrs they were very clean and tidy. Excellent job all round from advanced plumbing and heating from ringing to arrange to get the job done and completed within the week. Would highly recommend.
A fantastic experience! It's not often you get the full package; technical expertise, exceptional customer service and value for money. For almost 18months, we'd had a persistent problem with our boiler and dreadful intermittent squeaking sound! Various failed attempts had been made to identify the problem. Some recommended a replacement boiler, and being a relatively new system this was not what we wanted to hear. Then we found AHP. In 48 hours AHP had identified the problem, sourced a new part and worked their Saturday to resolve the issue. Needless to say, we have continued to use them for all things heating and plumbing and they never fail to disappoint. I would not hesitate in my recommendation of their services - 5 star.
Amazing work carried out by Peter on a pressure problem I had for months for the cold water. Was quick fairly priced and good workmanship.
I would strongly recommend this company. Had new central heating system fitted. Boiler and radiators very good quality. Fitter was excellent as were the rest of the staff team. I will never use anyone else now I've found this firm.
Excellent service phoned in morning due to faulty boiler, I couldn't meet Simon myself but was happy to meet family member at house, Simon called me out of work hours to go over my options, did me a great price on a new boiler and said he could get me in next day which was much appreciated, Phil arrived on time answered any questions I had, and I was more than happy to leave him at the house why I went to work, workmanship is top notch and house was all clean and tidy when returned, I can't recommend APH enough great company and employees, thanks.
An excellent service by a professional team, very knowledgeable in their products, a new gas boiler fitted on 23 July 2021 by Simon. Simon Barlow had been the day previously, as we where having problems with our old boiler, my wife being "Registered Blind" we needed professional and urgent assistance to guide us in choice of item to suite our needs, skilled engineer fitted the boiler with minimal fuss and everything tidied away, full instructions on how to use the product, better thermostat marked, for easier use by Simon WE would highly recommend this company to all users, especially the elderly or people with disabilities and special needs.
Called APH this morning at 08:30 for help on replacing a broken shower. Really polite, friendly and helpful on the phone. Called back with a price and new shower fitted same day before lunchtime by a really professional plumber. Really happy with the service and work carried out.
When my boiler failed APH fitted a new Combi system the very next day! Workmanship and standard of finish was first class, and no mess. I have used these people before and been highly delighted.
Fantastic service, thought I was facing a disaster with my toilet and a huge bill, the guy from APH diagnosed the problem immediately and then problem fixed within 15 minutes despite me bombarding him with questions which he was all too happy to answer. Had a boiler fitted with this company 3 years ago and have been very satisfied with it, so you always remember a good experience and now had a full central heating system fitted including a boiler. Very happy with the results quality workmanship, nice plumbers and the communication skills were excellent and the pipe work is like a work of art! The walls are very thick in this old building and not easy to drill. Left the area clean and tidy. Very happy customer and would highly recommend APH to anyone who requires high quality workmanship.
