Very professional, quick and informative. I have pulled my car in to check the engine light warning on the dashboard and was told that they are fairly busy so they cannot promise it will get done on the same day and in fact there was a number of cars in front of the service. After about 1-2 hours I got a phone call with the diagnosis and I was presented with the price and got asked if I want to proceed. After confirming and asking to proceed whenever they got time available I think it only took 2-3 extra hours to get my car all ready to use. It has now been a few weeks after the repair and the issue has not come back. So overall I am really happy with this service provider.
I used this trader when it was owned by Chris and after chatting with him was confident that I would get the same service when it was taken over by Malc. I have not been disappointed and it's good to know they are registered as a Trusted Trader. They are reliable and competitive in their pricing. They are pleasant, trustworthy and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble - from calling in unannounced to have a bulb replaced or for air to be put in a tyre to replacing worn parts or a full service - they are always courteous and obliging. My 'go to' trader for work on my car. Would highly recommend.
The Winspear Motors team are friendly, open and honest and gave me great service. Nothing was too much trouble, they gave me some excellent advice and fully explained what needed to be done, what could be done and what options are available. Malc and his team responded quickly to a request for emergency action. Our car required a new clutch before our imminent departure for France. They did the job even quicker than they had indicated, though they had the sense not to guarantee that they could do so. They kept us informed at every stage in a friendly and professional manner, pointing out along the way some other repairs which were important for our safety. The work was carried out for what we felt to be a very fair price. We would definitely use them again.

We arrived at Winspear without ringing first and were greeted by Malc who stopped what he was doing to look at our car. He explained what was wrong, how it could be repaired and booked us in as soon as he could. Although he was obviously very busy he did say, if we really needed to, he would try his best to do it sooner. Malc put us at ease and gave us the confidence to drive home that day, even if it was very slowly. Our neighbours gave us a lift to drop the car back to Winspear for repair and by complete coincidence we found they have used Malc for years! We have no hesitation in recommending Winspear after reading the reviews on this site, having a good experience with them and finding out our neighbours are loyal customers.
