Great work from Gareth and family. Their quote was one of the best and it was followed by professional, friendly and quick work. Gareth, Steve and Jack were a great team and all three showed diligence and attention to detail. They helped decide on materials and the end result was a modern, high quality drive and patio for the best price we could have gotten. Definitely recommended and would use again.
Excellent, professional and friendly service. Hedleys Landscapes trio removed our 1960s concrete tracks/gravel driveway and extended it with granite stone paving. Throughout the job there has been good advice and ideas, great communication and extra touches we wouldn't have thought of to ensure the driveway looks it's best. We were always informed of the weeks schedule which was dependent on the January weather, it looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier. It was worth the wait to get this level of professional and skill.
Having worked on a big job on the back garden in July, Gareth, Steve and Jack are hardworking, reliable and pleasant. They always consulted me when necessary and will be coming back again in 2024 to tackle further work, the back garden. I would definitely recommend them.

Well apart from being competitive on price, They were punctual clean and tidy. Would recommend to all my friends, it was a pleasure to have them do my work. Would definitely have them again. Can't speak of these guys highly enough. They replaced a crumbling retaining wall made from sleepers with a more solidly built brick wall. From the initial planning, through to the completion of the job, they were excellent. Easy to deal with, incredibly hard working, and totally professional. They sourced all the materials we wished for and dealt with everything that needed removing. Simply put, they're just a great team of people who surpassed our expectations.
Reading through other customers comments I couldn't agree more. Hedleys A team are reliable, really friendly, very polite, professional and also, Gareth, Steve and jack are dog lovers which is always a bonus, plus they do a fantastic job together. When Gareth came to look at the very tired, uneven back garden and we discussed what needed to be done to transfer it to a flat garden, and much safer one to relax and enjoy for years to come. I didn't think it would look as brilliant as the end result does never had a flat garden before. Over the moon with it. This hard working family team came everyday on a mission, only having short tea and biccy breaks. Gareth kept me informed of daily progress, any changes were discussed and agreed, tidy throughout the whole 3 and a half weeks, always cleaning up really well at the end of the day. Gareth first did a small job for me a few months ago , removing a hedge. He and jack were reliable and did a great job - especially of clearing up. This month Gareth, Jack and Gareth's Dad have done a big job for me, relaying my drive and replacing the edges of my flower beds with sleepers. The drive has been block paved and part of the drive has been gravelled. Gareth has been exceptional- I'm particularly impressed with how thoroughly he checked exactly what I wanted and talked through the options. He visited just before the work started to double check and checked in with me during the work to ensure I was happy. Overall,Gareth and team have been so reliable and trustworthy and a pleasure to deal with. So much so that I've just booked them for the next task.
I first met Gareth, his dad Steve and son Jack last year when they were doing some work in a neighbours garden. I was struck by how friendly they were and how hard they worked sometimes in very unpleasant weather. They always cleaned up and tidied up at the end of the day. After I discussed with Gareth the work I wanted to be done we agreed it would begin on 3rd July this year. Gareth kept in touch at intervals during the winter and called in a couple of weeks before the due date to go over the details. On the agreed date the work began on the construction of a retaining wall down a bank to a stream over steps down the bank in the back garden. They were confronted by terrible weather which made the work quite a challenge. They have been professional, punctual friendly and cleared and tidied up at the end of each day. The Work has taken 4 weeks as estimated. The garden has been transformed and I have more space to develop next year with the teams help. I am pleased to be able to recommend them.

From the very first day of meeting Gareth, when we were planning our drive we both were totally impressed with the information and respect shown by Gareth towards what we wanted the driveway to look like. I first heard about Hedleys from a neighbour who had work done previously and said how good they were. We needed a new patio wall and fence with paving going round the house so we wanted to give them a call to see if they could help us get the look we wanted. I am so glad we did. This is the fourth time we have used Hedleys and as usual the work that has been completed is fantastic. We have previously had block paving and fencing, this time the team constructed a beautiful new patio area for our back garden. In addition there were a few other jobs that cropped up and were kindly completed for us. 5 stars what can I say, a fantastic team who worked so hard from the moment they arrived. I knew in advance the date they were coming and got a text a few days before confirming they were still on schedule. I've had kitchen, bathroom and fences in the past and having the Hedley boys put all the other guys to shame. 5 hours plus of solid working, cutting 20ft plus conifers and even having to go in the river to make sure all waste was taken away. Highly recommended and will use again.
When we first contacted Gareth he was very open stating that he was very booked and would not be able to start for a while. Throughout the initial consultation and ongoing dialogue our ideas were taken on board and developed to deliver what we see as the finished project. Always pleasant and polite, informative and communicative with regular updates about next steps. Clean and tidy in their work and very popular with passing locals. Engaged neighbours where their property may be impacted or needed to work from their property due to work on the boundaries. A pleasure to have on your property whilst undergoing the major project. Would certainly work with Hedleys again if the need arose.
We had the Hedley trio dream team to re-landscape our small but troublesome back garden. They did an absolutely fantastic job and it looks better than we ever imagined. Gareth, his dad and son jack were always on time, hardworking and made sure everything was clean and tidy before they left each day. They were also very mindful of the neighbours, especially when working on the boundaries and made sure they spoke to them before going ahead with any work to make sure they were happy. No problem was too much for them and they were a pleasure to have around everyday. Very friendly and trustworthy. Really pleased with my new block paved drive. It looks like a new house! A great family team, really friendly and hard working, stopping only briefly for a well deserved cup of tea. Hedleys Landscapes were recommended by a friend and after seeing photos of their job, was confident they would do a great job for us. Was aware it could be several months to be fitted in but that is a great sign to me of the standard of their work to be so busy. My expectations and confidence were not ill founded. Fabulous job right from the start! Punctual, pleasant and friendly. Kept me updated on all works. Suggested improvements which have worked well. And the patio looks fantastic - already booking in for the next jobs.

Excellent family business. Steve, his son Gareth and grandson Jack are all lovely, friendly people who are easy to talk to and giving their advice as to what works best. We had them replace a patio, along with renewing a gate. They are extremely hardworking and tidy up the area as they go. We love the finished job and are completely satisfied with the results. We are returning customers and wouldn't use anyone else. This time we wanted a complete re-landscape of our back garden. Each section has been executed excellently. Despite there being tricky areas, which the team completely overcome. From start to finish, Gareth was reliable, approachable and did an excellent job. We love it! Hedley's back for a second 4 weeks job digging out a tier in garden, levelling, wall construction, lawn laying and patio construction. All done on time to price, keeps you advised of the steps in the process, accommodates changes requested during the job. Always pleasant and tidies up every day after their work. You will need to book them several months in advance and they still like to drink lots of tea. Having people back a second time speaks for itself.
Good job well executed, the team worked well together led by Gareth. He used his experience and knowledge to get around minor on site problems. Throughout the whole process, I was kept informed of what was to be achieved each day and what the next steps would be. As they moved to laying both the Indian sandstone and block paving, any changes to the plan were discussed and agreed with me. After three weeks of solid work, the final result is super smart. If you are planning to update your hard landscaping, I would suggest you talk to Hedley landscapes first.
