I was let down by an unregistered electrician who breached building regulations when he installed a new fuse box and would not provide receipts or the necessary certificates. James Cowie came to the rescue and sent 2 charming and hard working electricians Jed and Zack who worked flat out to not only fit a new fuse box where required but also a couple of other jobs and also tested sockets for all appliances in the entire house etc. for not much more than I was charged by the unregistered electrician. James and the boys were extremely professional and competent; I got a receipted invoice the same night and the required installation and building compliance certificates shortly after. As now retired electrician, Ian Tighe told me - you can trust Positive Electrics. They were excellent.

Positive Electrics completed a full rewire for us. James initially came to assess the job and was very thorough at explaining all the options and costing. Jed and Zak who completed the work were very efficient and did a great job. Overall we were very happy with the service provided. Would highly recommend and use again in the future as required.

After getting a couple of quotes, James very quickly won me over with his impeccable customer service. This was a big job yet James put me at ease, explained absolutely everything in great detail and most importantly - the quote that he provided actually detailed how the money would be spent, including all the materials that would be used, cost of labour etc. This is something that no other local company even cared to discuss. His team have done an outstanding job, they kept in touch with me and are very experienced! The house was left very clean and tidy - yet another bonus! 100% recommend!!!

Two outside lights replaced, a detailed quote given with cost of lights and labour separate. Luke also fitted us a kitchen light because he had time in the two hours quoted for labour. He came on the day and time we were booked in for and was very pleasant and professional. We felt very confident and would certainly recommend this company.

Very impressed, top class service. Had 21 downlights fitted in five different rooms, installed a new spur and socket for electric fire and replaced another socket that wasn't working. The guys were polite and friendly and left no mess. Would highly recommend.
