We've used J C Electrical previously. Jeff and Kane went out of their way to fit us in at times convenient to us. Kane did the quinquennial electrical inspection, very thoroughly. He came back to install a new LED bathroom light and replace the smoke alarms. Very pleasant and considerate. The cost was reasonable, maybe below what some others might have charged. I'm happy to commend them.

After being given an outrageous quote by an electrician supplied through a national company for rectification work following an EICR report, JC Electrical was able to confirm that several items were incorrectly marked as 'fail' instead of 'recommended work'. In most instances items that were compliant at the time of construction cannot be failed due to subsequent changes to regulations. JCE's price for the work was marginally over a fifth of the price quoted by the national company. Next time I will be using JC Electrical from the start.
