We would highly recommend Johnson Surfacing. We recently had our driveway replaced in Tarmac and we are very satisfied. Simon came out to give us a quote and offered his advice on the best product to use. The Team and equipment arrived on time and worked really hard. They were polite, experienced and professional. Having our new drive laid by Johnson's was a rewarding experience. The procedure from receiving the first phone call was excellent. Very satisfied with the end result of the resin surfacing for our drive. Superb workmanship, excellent communication throughout, did exactly what they say they would do and when. Nothing seemed too much trouble. A few finishing touches such as soil and gravel at the edges were unexpected and much appreciated. Would highly recommend! Johnson Surfacing has a good reputation in the Chesterfield area and I can honestly say it is well earned. The work carried out on the resurfacing of my driveway was first class, the workmen Louie and Simon were friendly, professional, polite and took pride in their work. This is evident in the final result. I would highly recommend Johnsons as they are one of the, if not, the best resurfacing companies in the Chesterfield area. Five Stars!
There are not enough praising words I can use for this company. From coming out to measure and give a quote which was incidentally a third of the price of a national company, they are just wonderful. The work was carried out with efficiency and it was a pleasure to watch this well oiled machine like work taking place. I was kept informed at every stage and am so pleased with my new drive and have received compliments from a couple of delivery drivers about it. Thank you and would highly recommend.

After a visit from Sebastien from Johnsons Surfacing Limited to look at my driveway I was concerned what the outcome would be but after the advice and assurance Sebastien gave me I decided to go a head and have a new tarmac driveway he gave me a date and time which was kept to and I was very pleased with staff that carried out the work to a very high standard we are very pleased with the new driveway so a very big THANK YOU TO SEBASTIAN AND ALL THEIR STAFF.

I contacted Johnsons to tarmac a parking bay at the side of an exciting drive. They came out to look at the job, quoted, arranged a day to do the job, came out on that day at the time agreed completed the job perfectly, no mess left behind, very easy to talk to and work with.
My driveway has been transformed by the Johnson Surfacing team. Sebastian talked me through the stages of work and the time schedule, which went according to plan. The crew were polite and efficient also informing me of the time schedule. At each point of work the driveway was left clean and tidy, ready for the next stage. Very impressed from the start. I chose this company for a largish job resurfacing two badly decayed paths at a church, with the approval of the diocese and priest, of course. I can't fault the service given by Seb and his team, in laying a new driveway. We had excellent communication and a comprehensive quote. The team who carried out the groundworks, worked very hard over some very hot days during the summer and the company who completed the top layer of resin were also very efficient and professional. We are thrilled with our new drive.
Job well done. Sebastian was helpful and knowledgeable and, although the quote wasn't the cheapest it wasn't the dearest either. The 2 ground workers 'Paul and Anthony' were cheerful, pleasant and thoughtful and answered questions in a friendly and informative way offering advice along the way. They did a great job of preparing the site for the crew to lay the tarmac and helped them on the day. The tarmac crew were cheerful and happy to address any questions and made sure we were happy with the result before they left. Would recommend.

After contacting two companies to replace the drive I opted for this one, price wise they were both very similar but I opted for this one as I could visibly see there craftsmanship as work was being carried out nearby, also great reviews. Arriving on time pre planned and mutually agreed day The team were both professional and paid great attention to detail on the block work and steps installed giving advice and recommendations on options available. This company are one of those selected by Derbyshire County Council to undertake drop kerb work. I had seen examples locally of work undertaken by Johnson Surfacing So had no hesitation in opting for them to do the work - and a very good job they did. They were neat and tidy and worked quickly and efficiently. My project was to lengthen the area of an already dropped kerb. I would have no hesitation in recommending Johnson Surfacing to anyone.

Did an excellent job on my drop kerb and small repair to the drive including the removal of a tree stump, the team that did the job were pleasant and approachable and answered any questions I had and there was no messing about they got on with it. Only downside was length of time we had to wait to get the job done but in the present situation I can understand why it took a long time to be completed.
