Adam from ALW recently serviced our alarm system as he has been doing for several years. As usual, he was punctual, professional and very considerate, even checking that he wouldn't disturb anyone upstairs whilst looking at the sensors on the landing. ALW fitted our house alarm 10 years ago, have since fitted another to an outside building. The after service is brilliant, notify you when a service is required, nothing too much trouble, no hard sell with any up grades, just honest advice. Would recommend them 100%.

Adam was very professional when doing the assessment and quotation for my installation and came at the time that had been arranged over the phone. On installation day he was again on time and again ran through what work he was about to carry out and checked that I was happy for him to continue on. The work was carried out with very minimal disruption and I was kept informed on what was going to be happening as he moved around my property. The installation was very neat and carried out with no mess whatsoever, Adam cleaned up as he moved from room to room. After the installation was completed Adam then ran me through how the system worked and answered all the questions that I asked, making sure that I was satisfied with everything that he had done and explained to me.

Adam carried out our annual service, changed all the batteries in the sensors. Was very thorough and polite. He checked the main control unit for any faults. Would recommend him if you wanted a new alarm system or wanted it serviced.
We first contacted ALW Security Systems in June 2018 as a distress call as our existing alarm system had a faulty activation at about 6am and it could not be stopped. Mr. Waterfall attended within 30 minutes and stopped the noise for us. I invited him to return and carry out a survey and quotation to replace our old system. This he did and we arranged for him to carry out the installation work. This was carried out at the appointed time with professionalism, courtesy and efficiency. Since then we have had Adam attend every year for the annual service and his standard of service has always been exemplary. I have no hesitation in commending him on all aspects of his service and would recommend him to anyone who asked me!
Originally recommended by a neighbour but the TT status gave us added comfort. Adam Waterfall provided a comprehensive alarm system in quick time and at a very fair price. He explained every aspect very thoroughly and there was no 'hard sell' for unnecessary items within the system. Adam carefully explained what he could do and listened to what we wanted, recommending the best system based on these conversations and a survey of our house. He expertly and very neatly fitted our new sensors, alarm boxes and control pad in one day and cleaned up afterwards. He also fitted a camera and spotlights to the same standard the following day. He clearly outlined the costs upfront and explained the cost of servicing moving forward. He fully tested the equipment and showed us clearly how to use it. I had an issue with my alarm at 4am New Years day. After many attempts at contacting other emergency security companies, with no answers, we tried ALW, and Adam answered straight away. He agreed to come round, despite the long journey. I was also very grateful that he told me the call out fee straight away, before I agreed for him to come. I appreciated his honesty and integrity. He was very informative and offered various combinations, and left it to us to decide what we would like and price we could afford. No pressure at all to sell us anything we didn't want. After signing up with him on a suitable installation we were given an installation date, and he arrived on that date and installed the new system, after removing the old one. He did a fantastic job, and apart from the noise from drilling holes etc you would hardly know he was in your house. After considering having a security alarm system fitted, I looked for a local installer near to our home in Belper. ALW Security Systems just seemed to stand out from the rest. They had very good reviews and were Trusted Trader registered, so decided to email them for an estimate. Best thing I did, Adam contacted me the next day by phone and having discussed our requirements, made an appointment to visit us in the next couple of days. Having arrived promptly at the agreed time, Adam went round the entire house, and after considering what our requirements were for an alarm system, he suggested what he considered to be a suitable installation. By this stage we had complete confidence that Adam had the knowledge and expertise to give us a first class system that would satisfy our requirements perfectly. On installation day he arrived promptly and proceeded to work quietly but methodically installing the entire system with out leaving any mess. On completion he then went through the entire alarming and disarming process, explaining everything we needed to know in a clear and precise manner. We have used this company for 10 years now. The annual service today was carried out in an excellent way. All COVID checks were asked before entering property and a face mask worn. Also hand gel was used. I felt very confident having engineer in my house at this present time.

In addition, ALW are fully conversant with current government Covid-19 advice, including hand washing before entering the property, wearing PPE and keeping a 2 metre distance at all times, giving complete peace of mind. First dealt with ALW when our old system failed. Came out at 06:30 am to stop alarm, we decided to buy new system and, as he had come to our assistance at that time we asked for a quote for new system. Very pleased with the quote and rapid, polite, efficient and professional service. Adam came the following day and fitted new system and has serviced the system for the last 2 years, Very professional and personable individual who works efficiently and willingly gives support over the telephone if for example there is an alert showing on the box in a clear non-electronic engineer speak that customers can understand. can't praise or recommend highly enough for the service.

Adam upgraded my old alarm system but in reality was a new system. He came gave a price which was acceptable and a date when this could be done. He did the job and even though he encountered a few problems and the job took longer than he thought it would the quote was honoured. Everything he did was very professional including the wearing of PPE and social distancing. Would definitely use again and recommend.
Adam came for a second visit today to complete a service and complete overhaul on our alarm system. Adam was meticulous and went through every part of the alarm and sensors and was able to highlight where the previous owners may have cut corners. He was friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to have him return for any further works and all our alarm needs going forward!

My house alarm was going off for 3hrs and we couldn't do anything to make it go off. After trying several more local firms that refused to come out due to being a weekend and because of lockdown, we decided to try ALW security who were 8 miles away. They were with us within 20 minutes and had it all sorted for us within 25 minutes. Amazing job and very thorough. I would definitely recommend.

He fixed the issue with our alarm and also offered information regarding our system and ways we can look after it to get the most out of it.
