I'm very pleased with finished results of my new shower room. If I was to nit pick, I'd say I wish I was told that the shower panel didn't come any bigger than 1m as it had to have a seem at one side to fit. I would have chosen one that did fit. But overall I'm very pleased with it and I feel very confident that the work Mark has done will last. So all you need to know is would I use Friary Builders again, that's a big YES from me. So thanks Mark and Heidi.

Mark refurbished our en-suite bathroom to a very high standard. The workmanship was excellent, very accommodating to meet our requirements and nothing was too much trouble. Mark worked extremely hard and his attention to detail was first class. I would not hesitated to recommend this company.

It was the start of lockdown. My 95 year old mother could no longer access her over the bath shower so an urgent modification to her bathroom was needed. Friary Builders, who have extensive experience in this type of work, responded very quickly. Heidi and partner Mark came to assess the situation, recommending conversion to a wet room as this would provide unhindered access on a non slip floor to a new, variable height electric shower. I considered the cost, which also included tiling, grab rails and height adjustable shower chair, very reasonable. Lockdown presented problems but their determination ensured the job commenced on time. Heidi, who has a science background, took my mother's Covid safety very seriously, always ensuring they adhered to safe distancing, wearing PPE and disinfecting scrupulously. The quality of their work, attention to detail and general tidiness was second to none. Any problems encountered, were overcome efficiently and without fuss. Heidi even persuaded the electricity board to come out and fix a faulty earthing point all within a few hours of her call, and at no cost! Heidi and Mark are very personable, very hard working and very good at what they do. Highly recommended.

Heidi and Mark Toone of Friary Builders were very professional it was very obvious they knew what they were doing. They regularly checked my requirements to the drawings and made suggestions how they could be improved. If anyone needs an accessible bathroom then this is the first company that should be on your list. There pricing was very competitive and the quality of the work was superb. Having had a bad experience with a plumber sometime ago, we were very apprehensive about choosing a builder/plumber so we turned to Trusted Trader. Being impressed with the reviews for Friary Builders, we decided to ask them to look at our bathroom and provide a quote. From that first meeting it was crystal clear that Heidi and Mark were extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the work involved and they found a design solution that would work for us. We felt confident they would do a good job and that certainly proved to be the case. Everything was discussed in detail at the pre-start meeting. Mark and Heidi kept floors protected, left the workplace clean and tidy each day, respected us and our house, worked long hours when necessary, provided quality workmanship, used quality products and, kept us fully informed on progress throughout. We honestly didn't think builders like Heidi and Mark existed, they exceeded all our expectations. They're genuinely hardworking people, very conscientious, trustworthy and approachable. Heidi and her husband know how to do things properly. They did a fantastic job in our bathroom, kept me informed at all times, discussed and explained the job with me. They left absolutely no mess, were on time and didn't leave until the job was done. I highly recommend them.
