ACT offers a variety of services to local communities including: DIAL-A-BUS - a door-to-door service for people unable to use or access other public transport due to age, disability or rural location. The service offers shopping opportunities predominantly, but also access to health, recreation and other essential services such as post offices, banks etc.. DCC Gold Card holders / East Staffordshire residents. GROUP TRAVEL provides vehicle hire services at cost to local groups, associations, schools, churches etc. Destinations may be regular, such as a weekly elderly people's luncheon club or one-off such as a school trip. aCTive travel is a door-to-door service for individuals who need transport for a variety of journeys such as GP, hospital, and social activities. EXCURSIONS run during the summer months offering daytime trips and evening tours. Pre-booking is recommended.
