He was extremely professional, thorough, and tidy and respectful. Always turned up on time and finished all work before moving onto his next job. He never once left us with a mess. Mr Jay Shiels is a superb craftsman, extremely skilled at his trade of tiling, plumbing and refitting bathrooms and en-suites and similar. He is very hard working, always punctual, tidy, clean- working and meets challenges with good humour and great expertise. He will buy your tiles or use your own selection. He is probably the best refurbishment professional we have worked with for years. He is very good value and does not overcharge. He has a conscience about his work. We have been very impressed by his range of skills and attention to details. He is really the best. We are now already thinking of other schemes to include him. Thank you very much Jay.
Jay has converted our bathroom into a wet room for my disabled Husband, he has made an excellent job, the workmanship is second to none, punctual time keeping, works very hard, even working late one evening to complete the work, always cleans up well after each day. Jay is a very pleasant guy, who is a pleasure to have in your home, would highly recommend.
Jay installed a new toilet and sink in our downstairs cloakroom plus he also tiled this for us. Jay was very professional and kept everywhere clean and tidy. He also stayed really late one evening to get the job done for us. We are really pleased with his work.
Jay was brilliant. He tiled our kitchen both floor and walls. Floor was extremely uneven, he levelled off and the finishing is lovely. Walls now done and went extra mile working over the weekend to finish the job. Highly recommended.

Jay tiled a bathroom for us, his workmanship is excellent. He was very professional and courteous. He always arrived on time and was keen to start work. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Jay spent 2 days digging out the inches of old adhesive on my kitchen floor rather than go for the easy option and just tile over it. It was a horrible dusty, dirty job which he just got on with and never complained. Underfloor heating also fitted and fast forward to a beautiful, perfectly tiled, warm kitchen floor. He has also just completed wet room refurb, new toilet didn't fit but Jay is very clever and worked out a solution and it's perfect. Wet room now looks magazine worthy. His workmanship and attention to detail are first class and his prices are extremely fair. I was happy to go out and leave him with my keys, Jay is someone you could trust your life with. I have no hesitation in recommending Jay who is a real gem.

Jay fitted a new walk-in shower in our bathroom, which entailed removing the existing bath and dealing with some eccentric plumbing from the past! His work was excellent in every respect. He explained everything he was doing, and kept us fully informed all the way. The new shower actually exceeded our expectations! We would have no hesitation in recommending him.
We cannot recommend Jay highly enough. He has been a lifesaver for us, rescuing an unfinished kitchen installation and coming at short notice to plumb in our appliances and sink, and finishing the kitchen job with some very neat tiling. Jay also replaced our broken shower tray at short notice, tiling as he went, and tidied up so well that you wouldn't have known he had been there. Punctual, friendly. A tradesman who turns up when he says he will, does his job well at a fair price, and then cleans up. Thanks!
Jay was an absolute legend!! Top bloke would definitely recommend, very helpful throughout! Nothing was too much trouble, and the tiling looks amazing! His finish was excellent and he did an amazing job doing us a herringbone effect. Even went with the wife to chose the grout. He was very friendly and approachable, all round brilliant!

Came when he said he would every day. Worked constantly while here, tidied up after himself every night and we were confident to leave him a key to lock up if we had to go out before he had finished for the day. He did an absolutely fantastic job and we would recommend him to anybody. We now have a tiled kitchen to be proud of.

Jay fitted out tiles for our new kitchen. I cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond to make sure the floor was exactly how we wanted it even though it meant extra work for himself. He also worked over the weekend to make sure it was completed for the Monday. All for a reasonable price, would definitely book him again.
