It was an extremely positive and reassuring experience finding Darren after being let down by several roofers for chimney work. Several roofers on Trusted Traders Derbyshire never got back to me despite messages left and repeated phone calls and someone else went AWOL after committing to some work, this person wasn't on Trusted Traders. How amazing then to find Darren. He takes his time, explaining to you what is needed, taking photos of before and after. He took care and attention throughout and was friendly and polite. He loves his work and this really shows in his interactions with you. I highly recommend him and it was a joy to find someone with outstanding customer care.
Darren responded within a day to a leak we had, his experience and professionalism were obvious and he sorted the problem very quickly. He also explained and made us aware of the issue throughout. We booked Darren again for another roofing job and he was meticulous in sourcing the right tiles and fixing mistakes made by others. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Darren was very professional, punctual and observant. He came to look at the work that was required and completed this within the expected time frame. No issues at all. Very pleased.
Darren carried out roof and gutter maintenance for me about 9 months ago. This included removing moss, re-fixing ridge tiles and sorting leaking gutters. Delighted with his work but called him back because one of the leaks came back. Darren not only came back to sort it but also replaced part of the barge board that he noticed this visit had rotted due to the leaking. Offered to pay but Daz said, all part of the service. Thank you Daz - great service and high quality work. Can't recommend RGB highly enough.
Darren came when he said he would which was even a Sunday, he gave a quote and went through the work that needed doing even showing pictures off his phone, he did the work when he said he was and was even there late at night because rain was forecasted the next day, the final bill was what he quoted and got a guarantee. I would recommend Darren and use him again every time.
Called within 90 mins of my phoning him to re-bed ridge tile after recent storms. I used Darren a few years ago. He still provides a first class service and very fairly priced. Darren remains very busy, a sure sign of an excellent tradesman.

When Daz came to do the quote he immediately gave confidence, going up and taking pictures to show the work required. It was a small job fixing a leak and his quote was very reasonable and the work completed very tidily. No problems since. He also did a couple of extras for us without any hassle. He is the most professional roofer I have found.

Thoroughly recommended. Completed roofing, fencing, removed chimney stacks and house pointing work for us. Out of all of the companies who quoted, Darren at RGB was the only person who went up a ladder to see what needed to be done. Honest, photos taken to show the work needed. I was amazed that others could see what needed to be done on a roof from ground level! Terrific finish to the work. Friendly, personable, straight forward to deal with. Only negative is that they like a few cups of tea making in a day! And that isn't really a negative - small price to pay for a series of jobs really well done. really happy.
No job is too small for Darren who carries out his work in an efficient and confident manner. He is cheerful, polite and helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending him. I am satisfied that our roof, guttering and chimney are in safe hands under his care.
Water leaking into my bedroom, and onto my bed so not able to sleep in it. Called one roofer he came assured me he would be back Friday, didn't come or answer his phone. Called Darren at RBJ Friday night, yes he could look at it Saturday, came on time got up 3 storeys, came and showed me picture of problem on his phone and explained it, fixed all in approx. 1/2 hour. Very polite, efficient, no problems just did a very good job, excellent rate, so pleased, would definitely recommend him.
