About P J B Projects
I believe I am a local, honest and hard-working young man with 15 years' experience in construction. I carry out building work with a friendly service and realistic prices. I have City & Guilds qualifications and CITB trained Staff, and a growing portfolio with references. I have relevant plant and machinery licences. All aspects of groundwork e.g. excavations, drainage, concreting, paving, tarmac, slabbing, driveways, block paving, patios, Indian paving, and fencing covered. Also general building works including brickwork, block work, walling, site clearance, garages and porches, extensions and new builds and traditional walling and paving. Restoring the past and building the future. I am a member of Marshalls and the Natural Paving Approved Installer Scheme.

Customer reviews for this trader
*Customer feedback*PJB Projects removed a damaged front garden wall and rebuilt a new one in same style. The wall included four pillars to hold a path gate and drive gate, price 3250. Started Nov 17 but the mortar on tops of the pillars completely crumbled and had to be rebuilt (April 18). Quality of pillar tops not as good as wall. Brick colour not good match for house. Didn't tidy up very well - neighbours actually came out and swilled road/pavement. Left insufficient gap on path gate pillar to install a proper latch. So bodged it. Overall a very disappointing experience which we have to look at every day.*Traders reply*The customer was very awkward through out the entire project and seemed to be very persistent as to when I would be starting. I quoted around August time and said that I am very busy and he wanted the work starting asap. I said the earliest I could get would be around end October, and that I would telephone roughly a week before to let him know. This was in the first week of November. He was very abrupt and said "You said that you would be here by October!" I was very reluctant to start the work with the attitude given, but I still did not want to let anyone down and also the bricks had been ordered (which i've had the blame for not matching) when the customer chose the bricks! The property is around 60 yrs old so as you can imagine the bricks on the house would be have been faded slightly. I brought new bricks which which was the best match. I left various samples and the customer picked the bricks and said yes these are fine. The pillar tops when built was in winter time when we had severe frost. I added adequate frost proof to the mortar mix and when finished the wall was covered with hessian sacks to prevent frost from getting in. When I came back to clean up all my hessian covers had been removed and consequently we now had frost damage to the joints. My covers mysteriously had been taken off, probably to be nosey inspecting the work. I still reluctantly came back like I said to rebuild the tops for free when it was not my fault. As for the gate latch this was done as a favour as there wasn't one on. Again the chap says "Oh thanks for that it never had one before, cheers". I wish i'd not done the job now as he's made me sound bad but you always get one I suppose and my previous other customers, which are hundreds of people, have all been happy with me and my work as all the other reviews clearly state.
Used because of praise from previous clients who said they would certainly use them again.
Phil and his team were very efficient and good workers and the job looked very good when they finished.
Nice people, job well done. Good clean up.
Very professional. Very friendly.
We are delighted with our new drive, tarmac, walls and patio. It took longer than we expected, partly due to bad weather, but also because Phil takes his time and does it properly. We would definitely ask Phil to do work for us again.
This builder did a good job at a fair price, what more could one ask.
Reacted at short notice to emergency work undertaken efficiently and successfully would use again.
