We had a quote from Tim after reading all the positive reviews. He is a pleasure to work with and gave us a reasonable quote for replacing the pointing on the edge of our gables and a few other small areas. Excellent professional work, completed quickly and left the area spotless. We would certainly use him again if we need any further work doing. Thoroughly recommended.

I noticed loose pieces of concrete on my roof and I was concerned they could potentially slip and damage my conservatory. I contacted Lawfield. Tim came round the following morning, inspected my roof, took photos to highlight the problem and immediately carried out repairs and cleared debris for a reasonable price. I found Tim to be knowledgeable, honest and a pleasant person and would definitely recommend. It is no surprise that he has many positive reviews.

*Customers Feedback* Tim's work was a good standard. However, four and a half hour's work for 640 pounds is unreasonable. He added 160 pounds for a strip to go on the roof over what we had agreed. Regarding the pricing, I provided an initial quote and left the decision to proceed entirely up to you. Once you confirmed that you were happy to go ahead, I began the work. Unfortunately, once I started stripping back the roof tiles, I discovered that the verge strip underneath was significantly damaged—something that was not visible beforehand. I immediately informed you of this, provided a photograph for transparency, and explained that an additional cost would be necessary for me to leave the job to collect a replacement verge strip. You confirmed that you were happy with this adjustment before I proceeded. In an effort to keep costs competitive, I chose not to use scaffolding, which would have added approximately £350 to the overall price. Many other roofers would have included this in their approach, but I aimed to provide a cost-effective solution without compromising quality. With regard to cleanliness, I made sure to thoroughly clean the area, using multiple buckets of water and a yard brush to remove any mortar from the driveway. At the time of completion, no mortar was left behind. I regret that you feel otherwise and would be happy to discuss any specific concerns. As for the working conditions, it was an extremely cold day, and I worked continuously for nearly five hours without a break to ensure the job was completed efficiently. I appreciate your feedback and apologise if this gave the impression that I was in a hurry to leave. My priority was to complete the work to a high standard while managing the challenging conditions. We called Tim out and he was here 2 days later at the time he said he would be. He then assessed our roof and sorted it out for us there and then. Excellent service from him. Thank you

Dealing with Tim was a pleasure from start to finish. The re-bedding of the verge tiles was done in a timely manner, I was very satisfied with the end result and the agreed price for the work. Would definitely use again.

Tim was fortunately readily available as he was taking a day's leave today. Despite this he came within two hours of my request. I noticed at 8 am today that a roof slate was hanging over the guttering on my bungalow. He responded very quickly to my message, came when he said he would and undertook the repairs for a reasonable price. Very happy with the service. Will definitely use his services again and would recommend his services.

Tim has completed works on our roof a few times now, one due to damage after some high winds, which he sorted immediately for us. More recently, he has replaced the ridge tiles and did a great job. Would highly recommend.

Tim's attention to detail meant he colour-matched an old roof tile and also carried out another repair to the ridge. Phoned this trader about a problem with our guttering. Tim answered the phone promptly, I explained the problem, he said "I'll be round in about 45 mins", less than 1 hour later, job sorted. I could not have asked for a better service, he'll be first on my list to call about any other roofing problems. He has my unqualified recommendation.

I used Tim a couple of times, he built a conservatory and his service and workmanship was second to none! He was polite, punctual and the conservatory looks beautiful! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

*Customer Feedback* Tim came to mend a leak in our roof. However he had to come back as the initial repair didn't work. We trusted him and paid again for him to complete the work, a much bigger job this time. However time has proven that this repair also hasn't worked and the leak we had is still there. The internal water marks are continuing to get worse and the internal damage is worsening. I have messaged, called and emailed Tim, all of which have been ignored. I am not used to giving negative reviews but I feel so disappointed. We paid him straight away for both jobs, which were not cheap. We trusted him and now feel so let down that he does not have the decency to come back to try to resolve the situation for us. *Traders Reply* I'm sorry to hear of this negative feedback from this customer. The work in question was carried out in 2020 to repair a leak which I did. The customer then called me back to re-bed hip tiles which were coming loose. This second job was not connected to the initial roof leak that I originally went to repair in 2020. over 2 and half years later the customer messaged me to repair a roof leak again. I did reply to the customer advising I had been off work ill for a while and wasn't able to go back to look at her roof at this time. I'm really sorry to hear this customer is dissatisfied. it's very possible the leak they now have is unrelated to the leak I repaired some years ago as it would have leaked more or less straight away if it was connected.

*Customer Feedback*He did not turn up to quote to repair my roof when he said he would. Did not have the decency to let me know he wasn't coming, ignored my calls and text messages. I work nights as a midwife, got up early and waited in all day for nothing. This company should not be on this Derbyshire Trusted Traders' website as he is totally untrustworthy. *Traders Reply* I'm really surprised to get this feedback as although this was some months ago, looking at my diary, I do recall I definitely turned up but there was no answer and I left as I had another job to attend later that afternoon. I do pride myself on being prompt and reliable and if for any reason I am unable to make an appointment I message the customer to let them know. I can only assume in this instance the customer simply did not hear me knocking.

Tim was polite, efficient and a pleasure to deal with! - he responded promptly to my email inquiry last week, came round the next day to quote and then got the job done today. Dealing with Tim has given me every confidence that the guttering repair he did for us today not only looks to have resolved the issue but should ensure its sorted for the long term which is what we wanted.
