Jon was very professional, helpful and friendly. He addressed three issues for us - a faulty toilet flush, a leaking ballcock and a leaking outside tap. Been three weeks now since the work was done and everything is fine.

Jon certainly lived up to the glowing recommendation provided by a close friend. He is extremely professional, polite, punctual, tidy, and competitively priced. He replaced our existing 20 year old boiler, at short notice during the last cold-snap of 2023, with a new Worcester Bosch unit, C/W new-pump and magnetic-filter. The new boiler has worked faultlessly, and the heating system is now much improved. I endorse my friend's recommendation, and we will now be using Jon for any further work that we require, including annual servicing of our boiler.

Called Jon for a leaking shower waste pipe that had leaked through the kitchen ceiling. Jon had to cut a hole in the ceiling to gain access, but did an excellent job of fixing the leak with minimal impact and a fair price. Would have no hesitation recommending Jon's services.
Jon was recommended by a friend who said he was a good plumber and would do a good job. He came and diagnosed my concealed toilet problem and dripping tap. This was the first time I had used Jon Honeyfield having found his details on the DCC Trusted Trader site and read recent reviews. The work carried out was servicing a gas boiler and servicing a gas fire. He arrived at a time agreed, was polite and tidied up afterwards. He also answered a couple of queries I had concerning my use of the gas boiler system. I also thought his bill was reasonable. I would certainly consider using him for any future work.
Gas boiler annual service. Contacted and came the following day. Can't ask more. Job well done.
We called Jon as we needed a few jobs doing. He sorted the leaking tap and changed the broken radiator valve very quickly. Regarding the leaking toilet, this was in a concealed system so Jon spoke to the plumbing merchants to try to identify the part as we couldn't find it online. Jon then took the part to the merchants and came back with one which he then fitted and sorted it. He charged a very reasonable amount and was very professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful. Solved my problem with a quick FaceTime call when could have charged me for a call out. So nice to find a nice trustworthy person especially when you have no heating and it's 3 degrees outside.
Needed a new kitchen tap a week before Christmas, was so lucky Jon said he could sort it for me and although he hit problems with my old water system he worked his way through it. Also showed consideration for property and covid.

Jon is completely reliable and honest. I recommend him as he explains clearly what is wrong and what needs doing. You can either use your own products or he will access products from his supplier. His work is thorough and he leaves the place as he found it. Trustworthy is the word.

I found Jon Honeyfield to be brilliant at his trade. Today he replaced a pair of 36yr old bath taps which had little access and had aged jointing. I am retired from an engineering background and would not have liked to do this job in the short time Jon took. Jon charged little more that some people have charged me for just a simple callout. We needed a replacement electric shower in a hurry. Jon was able to do the job within 48 hours with a minimum of fuss, and at a very fair charge.

In the last 6 months I've had to call out a plumber urgently on at least 2 occasions. Jon Honeyfield responded and came out even though it was evening and on one occasion a Bank holiday. He was very thorough when sorting out the problems and I can't recommend him highly enough!
We had used Jon previously as our plumber. We had a semi emergency which needed immediate attention. Jon came out to repair in 'out of hours'. Unusually as a tradesman Jon is excellent at communication. If you send him a message he will reply without the need to chase! He keeps you updated without the need to prompt. After the urgent job he returned to complete a long list of non urgent jobs He arrived on the agreed day spot on time. His work as a plumber is absolutely excellent. The very highest professional standards. He is pleasant to have in your home, polite, friendly and cheerful. All Covid precautions fully taken. His rates are very reasonable. Thanks to Jon, a mains leak was stopped late at night and then thoroughly fixed. The leak was in lead pipe that not all plumbers can deal with, and fixed before the kitchen got flooded.
Mr Honeyfield, as well as clearly being a very accomplished engineer, has general building ability to make good after installing plumbing and heating. He also has an extremely pleasant, nevertheless convincing, manner which enables one to deal with him with confidence. He has done work for us on several occasions over the past few years and we shall continue to ask him as long as he is available. We cannot recommend him too highly.

We had a very large job that included a full heating system replacement and plumbing in of a toilet, sink and washer in a newly created laundry room. Jon was extremely professional throughout the process from coming to price up the job to completing the work. He was always on time and took the time to clean up after himself. Our job was awkward because we wanted the new boiler on a different side of the house than the original 40-year-old back boiler was. We had several other people come to price up the job and try to convince us that it would be too much hassle. Jon however, listened to exactly what we wanted, explained the difficulties involved and what work would be required to overcome them and was not put off by the complexity of the job. The price he quoted was very reasonable and a lot less than British Gas, who incidentally quoted us to install the same boiler as the one Jon fitted. He has now completed the work and we couldn't be happier. His attention to detail is second to none and he tested everything to ensure there were no issues before leaving. Highly recommended!
I contacted Mr Honeyfield about a water leak in my home. He came promptly to see the problem. He was careful to follow the guide lines re the virus. Within half an hour, including going to get appropriate parts, the leak was fixed. Excellent work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
