I'm really pleased with the work Mark has carried outside on our chimney. He knew what was causing the damp on the ceiling and gave me a reasonable quote and we arranged a date for him to do the work. The work was completed promptly and Mark and the lads were polite and tidy. I would happily recommend Mark to anyone who needs work doing.

Very good value for money. I own a new build property. I have owned the property since November 2021 from new and recently lost a ridge tile. Marlite were able to inspect and repair the roof after the developer dismissed the problem as being related to storm damage. The inspection revealed improper installation of the ridge tiles amongst other defects that I would not otherwise had known about. Marlite provided me with copies of photographs of the roof prior to the repairs which will strengthen the case for compensation from the developer. I can highly recommend Marlite.

I don't usually write reviews, but in this instance, I feel the service that Mark and Dave have provided has been 1st class. Mark turned up on time to evaluate the work required and gave clear instructions about what needed doing. As the state of our chimney was in such poor condition and had been suffering from water ingress over time unbeknown to us, Mark managed to prioritise us and carry out the work quickly and efficiently, and the work area was always left clean at the end of each day. Every step of the work was explained, and photographs were sent before and after to show us the completed work. They also managed to solve other problems we have had with the roof. I cannot recommend Marlite highly enough. 5 Stars!! Thank you.

Mark was very easy to work with. His estimate was very fair and the standard of work excellent. His partner Dave explained everything as the work was being completed and they fitted the job in at very short notice. All round a great job.

Mark and Dave repaired my chimney flaunching. Plus other small but very necessary works that their experienced eyes could see needed doing. On old houses, small jobs, when not attended to, very quickly grow into large, and expensive jobs. I am very grateful that they could easily have left these jobs, but their dedication, professionalism and pride in their work meant that they were sorted there and then. And at no extra cost. They are polite, on time, on budget, first class work ethics and in keeping you informed. What more, or better service or better trades people could I have asked for? Marlite roofing did work on the chimneys and roof. They were polite and explained what was needed and showed me photographs of the chimneys. They came at the time arranged and cleared up very well behind them.
Mark and Dave arrived to remove old render and repoint my chimney. They arrived on time and explained the work in great detail plus they took before and after photos. The work was completed properly and to my satisfaction. I didn't feel that they had rushed just to get the job done and seem a thoroughly reliable nice pair of chaps.

Am really pleased I got in touch with Mark at Marlite. I had an ongoing leak around chimney and other issues in surrounding roof area no other companies could rectify. Mark and Dave worked really hard to find the problems which they did informing me verbally and with photos. They then took time and care to do a proper job and I am pleased to say they have sorted my leak I am so relieved. Mark told me they would have it as good as new for me and he was true to his word. Mark and Dave are really nice people too, treating mine and my neighbours properties they had to access my roof from next door with the upmost respect. I have no hesitation recommending them going by my experience.
I had a leak coming into two parts of the house. Mark and Dave really got under the skin of it and spent time uncovering the cause which was chimney related, not helped by previous roofers skimming over the problem. Mark and Dave were brilliant at keeping me informed every step of the way, showing me photos and videos of the issue. They dug deep to get the job done, hampered by rain then high winds but they took their time to do a quality job rather than taking any short cuts to get it completed. I can tell Mark and Dave care about their customers, not wanting to let anyone down or do anything that could jeopardise their excellent reputation. They were easy to get on with and I enjoyed their banter. When the work on the chimney was completed they took time to do some damp tests in the house plus we've booked them in again for an inspection to make sure all has settled. Excellent work.

This is the first time I have used Trusted Trader to find a company and I will certainly be doing it again. I got in touch with Marlite roofing and spoke to Mark about a problem with a large damp area on our bedroom wall and ceiling. Mark was so helpful and polite and agreed to come out and look at the roof a few days later at a time that suited me when I had finished work. On arrival Mark and Dave introduced themselves and got straight to work and found the problem straight away which was a large hole in the felt and showed me pictures of this on their phone as well as other areas where the felt was very worn. Mark explained what needed doing and gave me a very reasonable price to complete the work. I agreed on this along with a date and they came back completed the work and showed me all the pictures before and afterwards and my problem has now been solved. Mark and Dave really do give a first class service and I would highly recommend them to anyone. 10/10 honest reliable service.

Managed to fit my job in early. Did exactly what agreed at quoted price, then sorted a slipped down pipe they had noticed at no charge. Would strongly recommend them.
We contacted Marlite for a quote for replacing our ridge tiles, which we got quickly and agreed. Mark phoned to say they could come and complete the work and they arrived promptly. Unfortunately they discovered more damage and work needed doing once they were on the roof, which put them out and upset their work schedule, as they were only due to be at our property for one day and the extra work would mean at least two days. Mark explained everything to us, took multiple photos to explain what they'd found and why it needed doing, and gave us a price for the extra work before they carried on. They worked hard to get the roof water tight as the next day had rain forecast. We found Marlite to be trustworthy, hard working and honest - they informed us about every aspect of the work and tidied up everything at the end of each day. We need more work doing in the future and we have no hesitation in asking Marlite to complete it. Thanks!
