We offer decking, fencing, patios/paving, landscaping, low maintenance gardens, fencing repairs and general maintenance. We do not have a hard sell approach. Quotations will be provided by friendly staff and the decision is left with the customer to consider. We are a local Derbyshire business and offer a high quality service.

Abbey Decking Systems and Fencing were absolutely fantastic. We had a few quotes from other people, however, Fred was the only person who considered the overall impact on the garden, drainage and design. He drew what he said he thought would be best and asked what I thought prior to the works. He was extremely efficient and a pleasure to have working on my house. I would definitely recommend Abbey Decking Systems to my friends and family.
Fred gave us a very favourable quote back in March, but was obviously very popular and busy a good sign and estimated that he couldn't fit our gates until June, which suited us fine. However, there was a slight delay and the gates were finally fitted on 5th July, thankfully a dry sunny day! Fred is a very amiable man who likes a chat, but he is also very professional and just got on with the job and we were left with two great back gates, one of which is a very large bespoke gate. We had decided to have them fitted untreated so I was left with the task of treating them and then painting them white, but Fred was very obliging whilst I was doing this by initially fitting and then removing the various bolts and catches so I knew where they should go - I know Fred was planning to put pictures on his website so you can see his excellent work - I would highly recommend Fred, thank you.
Fred was extremely polite and reliable and kept us informed throughout every stage. He provided a very competitive quote. The work which was a garden fence, including concrete pillars was done to a very high standard and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. I would not hesitate to recommend Fred.

We had a security issue due to destruction of our garden gate by a tree in a recent storm. Fred Seeley produced an effective temporary solution and later made a well crafted lockable gate. He also unasked, cleared debris from the area that was too heavy for us to move. We have no hesitation in recommending him as a most professional and skilled tradesman.
Fred has made a really good and professional job, the outside gate is very well made by him, and the installation of both the gate and fence went without a problem. I would highly recommend him for his professional and courteous manner.
Fred did a truly fantastic job constructing decking and a pergola. He made sure it was accessible by wheelchair by building a ramp at just the right angle. He used quality materials and did a truly quality job. He kept me informed throughout. He cleared up afterwards too. My wife and I are really looking forward to enjoy it.

Fred provided a professional, first-class service at a very reasonable cost in replacing our garden fence and gate which had been badly damaged by prevailing winds over the years. He responded quickly to our initial enquiry, visited the site, and advised on the best option for the location. He provided all the materials, customised to our requirements, and worked extremely hard to install the new fence to schedule despite some very adverse weather conditions. We are so pleased with the result. The fence is not only extremely sturdy but looks fantastic on both sides and ideally suited to the location. We have received lots of compliments. It was a pleasure having Fred do the job for us and we would highly recommend him.

Fred responded quickly to our enquiry, was reassuringly interested in how we wanted to improve the deck we were replacing, and had many good suggestions. The end result is terrific: better than we imagined, delivered on time and for the price quoted despite a few tweaks along the way. If I could score 11 out of 10, I would.
Really good work, really happy with the overall finish, quality of the products and workmanship. Great that it was a 'complete' job as even a wall hook for the garden gate was included! I would recommend to anyone who needs quality fencing for their garden.

We required removal of an old, small decking area and replacement with new. Mr. Seeley discussed options, agreed a design, provided a quote and arranged a date for the work. The job was done well, on time and on price. All old materials were removed and the site left clean and tidy. Disruption to existing garden was absolutely minimal.

Fred provided a very competitive quote for replacing my garden fence panels. He arrived exactly on time and completed the job in 2 hours. Rather than slotting in pre-made panels he made them in situ to ensure they exactly fitted. He was friendly, cheerful, extremely helpful and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. He removed the old panels and all waste materials to be properly disposed of. I am absolutely delighted with Fred and his amazing work. I definitely recommend him to anyone. Thanks Fred!
Fred did an absolutely fantastic job in our garden. The plot was unusual and Fred has managed to transform our garden, offering us more usable space and a beautiful seating area. Totally professional at all times and did the job for a great price £4000 cheaper than another quote. Fred used top quality materials on the job and the end product looks better than we could have ever hoped. We will definitely be using Fred again in the future.
