A and D Groundworks were fantastic. We had our kerb dropped and vehicle access point widened. Craig gave me lots of much needed advice and guidance throughout the planning/application process. I was given a start date for the work and by 8am that morning work had started. The work was carried out to a very high standard and I couldn't believe the amount of work that was completed in just 2 days. After the work was completed the team took extra time to tidy up and wash the area down. I would strongly recommend A and D Groundworks to anyone looking for excellent groundworks at a reasonable price.
The team removed and replaced a long broken-down fence. Because of neighbouring tree roots it was necessary to build a custom-made wooden fence. Am very pleased with the look of the fence and the garden looks a lot bigger. Also pleased with price.
While we didn't choose this company through Trusted Trader we were delighted to find they were members, we chose them from work we had seen them do. Absolutely brilliant. From start to finish this company did an amazing job laying two porcelain slabbed patio areas, edging the garden and putting in steps on a very steep slope. Craig came out and priced up the work and discussed different options. The workmen arrived at 7.30am every day and worked until 5 and never stopped. Such amazing hard workers and absolute praise to them. Stuart and the lads were brilliant and consulted us all the way through the process and came up with ideas we hadn't even thought of. The work was professional and looks brilliant and the price was really reasonable for what achieved. They also washed down everything to keep dust and things down to a minimum. We haven't got a massive garden but they made use of all the space we had to make a lovely patio area. Can not recommend them enough. Thanks Craig, Stuart and the lads for such a professional job. Could not be happier.

We are so pleased with the work these guys have done for us. From the start they were helpful, giving advice regarding our plans and getting permissions for our extension to the driveway and dropdown kerb. When they started the work they were here early everyday and worked hard throughout. A great set of lads and given the extent of the work it hardly impacted upon our day to day lives. The end result is excellent and we are really pleased with it all. We can't recommend them highly enough.
Removal of large 45m hedge was needed, took care to limit damage to lawns etc., left garden tidy each evening, took all of the rubbish away. Arrived early each day and grafted all day. Fence looks really tidy, wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend.

I cannot praise Craig, Stuart and the team enough. Their professionalism, promptness, communication, guidance, reassurance and workmanship has been Absolutely Outstanding. Over the months leading up to our work date Craig kept in touch, his honesty and communication is admirable and refreshing compared to previous experiences we have had. The team always arrive when expected and have gone above and beyond our expectations, we are delighted with the results and the relationships made so much so we will asking the team to re-attend at a later date for our rear garden. We had seen the teams other projects and were so impressed we only wanted them to carry out our driveway. We were not surprised to wait a while for their next availability. Being as professional as they are we knew "The best things come to those who wait " if their availability was too rapid I'd have concerns as to why no other work would be pending. As other people have said, the team are great and I would recommend them. Stuart and Billy were friendly, courteous and did a great job fitting a fence and gate in our back garden. All done on time and in a really professional manner, they also accommodated our request for a hedgehog hole to be incorporated in the fence. Top job and would use them again.
We have just had our drive done in tarmac by A and D groundworks and it is excellent we can't praise them enough and would recommend them to everyone. Nothing has been too much trouble for Craig who runs the business, he has helped us and advised us from beginning to end with everything including planning permission with the council and applying to have the kerb dropped. They have done an excellent job thank you Craig.
Craig, Stuart and team carried out a really professional job on our driveway. We were particularly impressed with the fact that they were able to resolve an issue we had with an unstable retaining wall, and despite this not being in the original plan, they gave good advice and they managed to remove the wall and replace it with an outstanding concrete plinth and wooden fence which in fact enhanced the look of the overall driveway, all completed in the time frame they had given us. All the team were courteous and cleaned up at the end of their working day. They ensured that all was ok with our neighbours and kept us informed from start to finish. We would highly recommend this fabulous team.
Craig and his team did an excellent job on my patio which needed to be completely replaced with new stone and underlay. The variations in slope created a challenge which they certainly rose to and met very well. They readily discussed each stage with me and the finished work is a huge improvement on what was there before. I subsequently asked them to do some fencing work. Again, the work was carried out to a high standard. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is the second time we have employed the services of Craig and his team, Stuart, Jamie and Billy who has joined them more recently. They have a very professional approach to the job and are really nice friendly guys at the same time. We were so pleased with the excellent work done first time around when we had a drive added to the front of our property we automatically contacted Craig for a quote for our back garden to add a patio area and paths. Again the project was managed and completed efficiently, expertly and with a minimum of disruption, they always clean up and leave everything tidy and safe as they work. We are so pleased with the outcome, it's made a massive difference to our property and it is so pleasant now to sit out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine. Lastly just want to say thanks to Craig for being so flexible and helpful throughout the last year when we rearranged dates. We would thoroughly recommend the team with no hesitation. Craig and his team are a testament to professionalism. From first contact to job completion, Craig made sure I was informed every step of the way. The work I had done was removal of an existing 7ft high garden wall and installation of new heavy duty fencing and gate. Craig sourced high quality materials and Stuart and the site team undertook the works with no fuss, hassle or worries. The finished installation looks superb. High quality workmanship from a company that I have no concerns about recommending.

We had our whole back garden re-landscaped by A&D Groundworks and their professionalism throughout from quote to execution was outstanding. Very friendly and explained everything that was happening throughout the job. We are extremely pleased with the finished result and would highly recommend them. I am needing some more work done on the front and will be using A&D Groundworks without question.
Craig returned my phone enquiry about relaying a patio promptly and visited to assess the work required. Date given and Stuart and the lads arrived on time and worked hard, were pleasant and offered suggestions on finish, cleared up as they went and completed work in less than 2 days. We used A and D to re-landscape our front garden and drive, extend our dropped kerb, plus put in a fence on our boundary to next door. They all worked so hard throughout the week on what was both mentally and physically taxing. Craig and Stuart came up with some great ideas on what would work best on a difficult area and Billy and Jamie the lads who work for them are such hard workers, friendly and polite. They were all very courteous with neighbours, kept the road, path and next doors drive as clean as they could and left things neat and tidy at the end of each day. We look forward to having them back to do our back garden in the future. They are also easily pleased with tea and biscuits!!
