Dean provided excellent service in respect of a leaking toilet and cistern. Identifying and repairing the problem when the insurance company home emergency service had failed. Responded quickly following contact by phone to carry out an initial assessment and then scheduled a visit to carry out the work. Recommended.

I had a problem with the old stopcock in my house and the cold tap for the washing machine. My house is a 1930s semi detached house and the stopcock is the original 80 year old tap and wouldn't completely stop the flow of water even when turned fully off. I contacted Dean of D T Plumbing and Heating and he did an excellent job. He came up with the simple solution of fitting a new lever tap above the old stopcock. This avoided difficulty of replacing the very old stopcock and now the new lever stopcock tap can be turned off and on with one finger. Dean also replaced the cold water tap for the washing machine and was finished in 30 minutes. Dean was very approachable, knowledgeable, and professional. I had full confidence that he would get the job done efficiently, which he did. I will be recommending him if people I know need a plumber.

Had strange plumbing problem. Dean would not be beaten and not only solved it but also fitted us with new shower. He is an efficient and tidy worker. Also friendly so not a drag being in the house. Would definitely recommend him for all your plumbing needs.

Dean was very polite at all times, he informed us everyday as what was going to happen next, who was coming and at what time, and they kept to this time. Dean always came to check the work that someone had done e.g Tiler, electrician, they always cleaned up after themselves no mess left, and they all worked very hard. I would highly recommend Dean and his team.
We called Dean to ask for some advise on a water leak into our hallway from a concealed bath drain pipe, he promptly called us back to arrange a time to come round and look at our problem. On his arrival he explained what he needed to do to gain access to the pipework and carefully removed a piece of coving. He found the problem, removed the blockage and replaced the faulty seal all at a very reasonable cost. We will certainly use Dean again and highly recommend him to others.

Dean has completed 2 en-suite shower rooms for us to a very high standard. They were both custom fitted to our requirements - one included the removal of a bath and installation of a large walk in shower with inset shelving. Dean and his team of professional workmen were fantastic - they were all extremely friendly, trustworthy and approachable and offered lots of advice and recommendations. We would strongly recommend Dean to anyone requiring showroom quality bathrooms and will definitely use him again for our main bathroom in the future. Dean DT Plumbing arrived next day to resolve a problem with the toilet not filling correctly, a boiler service had also been outstanding from April due to Covid-19 which he agreed to do at the same time even though it wasn't emergency. He explained over the phone how he now handles social distancing under the current guidelines with regards to Covid-19. He fixed the problem and also performed the boiler service. In a difficult time for tradesmen, Dean was professional and maintained social distance all times. The price was reasonable and all in all happy with his workmanship. Would recommend Dean and DT Plumbing to anybody.
*Customer Feedback* First time I had Dean out was because of an overflow problem, Dean fixed it and I thought the price was fair. Called Dean again 3 days ago due to leak on bath, Dean came and changed part at a cost of £120 for 5/10 minutes work and wanted to be paid cash this time, the next day noticed there was another leak on the bath so texted Dean and asked if he could come back, asked for photo which I sent and then ignored me and have not had any contact from him. Found another plumber who came out to fix the problem… 2.5 hrs later done and bill was £96, was informed that I've been way over charged by Dean. New plumber is also going to sort out the overflow problem that is still a problem that Dean said he had fixed the first time around. Don't waste your time or even more important your money, find someone else to do the job right the first time around. Would not recommend! *Trader Reply* Firstly I do recall my first visit to this customer regarding the overflow. On arrival they were name calling the previous plumber they had to their house, but I made no comment as there are always two sides. On my last visit, they sent me a picture of the part of the bath waste they had broken. I priced over the phone what the cost would be to supply and fit the part. They agreed. Due to the Covid pandemic, I was not in a position to collect the part from my usual merchants, so I had to order online, then the next day click, queue up and collect. Then I called to the customers house, fitted the part and tested it was okay. I was there a lot longer than the 5/10 minutes suggested. The reason I asked the customer to pay in cash was for ease because I didn't want a cheque due to the difficulty of going to the bank during the Covid situation. On the Saturday at 21:28 I received a text to say they had another leak, nothing to do with what I had worked on. Sunday morning I replied to their text asking them to send me a picture of the leak. They did this. Because the leak wasn't related to the work I had previously done and wasn't an emergency, I decided I would call them on Monday. But they had found another plumber to do the work for them. Hopefully they can keep hold of them for future work. I'm pleased they got it sorted and they are now finally happy customers.
