This plumber provided us with fair quotes and detailed information about the work involved. This work required removing and replacing a leaking shower cubicle, repairing the damaged floor and replacing the shower. All the work was carried out very well and tidily with consideration to our household. We would strongly recommend this business.

They came out quickly to a leaking toilet. They found the problem and explained the problem and the solution clearly, which they then fixed. Nice people - polite, friendly and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending John and his team.

John and Richard are a brilliant team, nothing is too much trouble, any problems encountered were dealt with "a can do attitude" and a solution found. They converted a small bedroom into a bathroom, listened to what we wanted and made a superb job. We can highly recommend them, clean, hard workers, and reasonably priced. We cannot fault anything.

In March 2020 John Jacobs assisted by Richard replaced 8 CH radiators. These rads were slightly a different length to the old ones being replaced. John did an excellent job with avoiding little damage to the floor covering. He came promptly on the day arranged and although the work over ran, he kept to the quoted price. I have used him previously, along with other members of the family and would not hesitate to use him again.

John and Rich came out within a couple of hours to look at our leak, secured it and then came the next day with the part to fit. We were delighted with their response and service and would highly recommend them.

After quite a negative experience with a previous builder I can say with confidence that using J R Jacobs Builders and Plumbers has been a very positive experience that has enhanced our family life. John and Richard have recently remodelled and fitted our kitchen to a very high standard. They worked to a plan of our design and it's turned out exactly like we wanted it. From the start they were professional and courteous and John helped us finalise the myriad of details that comes with a kitchen before work started. John does exactly what he says he will do from the start and keeps up good communication throughout. He is also a problem solver so anything that crops up, which with building it often does! he tackles it head on to get it sorted. Timescales of ten evolve as you go but ours was fine. The site was kept clean and tidy too. All in all, great lads that are easy to get on with producing professional work. Our kitchen is a credit to them. Highly recommended.

John came out within 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon and sorted out the kitchen tap so we had cold water in the kitchen again. Speedy efficient work and a pleasant chap. I would certainly ask him for any other plumbing work I needed.
