Rob and his team were fantastic. Friendly, efficient, tidy and gave honest communication. Excellent quality build of car port which has led to more work from me.
Excellent service, very neat and tidy. A repair to my garage roof and some repointing. Robert went over and above what was required cutting back an overhanging shrub and clearing the awkward to reach gutters. Gave helpful information and advice, I would without hesitation recommend Robert's workmanship.
We found Rob excellent to work with at all stages of the work he did for us. He replied promptly to a left telephone message asking for a quote, he came round provided the quote and once we accepted gave us an approximate date for the work. He then contacted on the lead up to he work confirming dates etc. and turned up on the day and at a time agreed. Although fundamental to good service it was a very pleasant surprise to find that this standard of service still exists. The work Rob and Logan did was first class and all aspects were discussed with us to ensure we were getting what we wanted and amended were needed. First class customer service, first class communication and first class standard of work. We would recommend Rob with confidence.
Rob arrived on time and completed the work on time which took 4 weeks. As the work progressed Rob was always suggesting minor alterations to the appearance, construction and materials. Rob and his workforce were clean and tidy during construction and cleaned up the site and surrounding area on completion. This is the second job he has completed for us and we would not hesitate to use him again.
At no point did we have any doubt that we'd picked the right person for what seemed quite a big job: pointing repairs, new soffits and generally ensuring the outside of our detached little bungalow showing its age is now fully neat, weather-proof and rodent resistant. As others say, he takes unexpected difficulties in his stride and suggests practical/economical solutions. Great communication, he and his assistant very nice to work with, down to earth but paying attention to detail to get everything looking right. Will certainly want him for our next job and no hesitation in recommending him unreservedly.
When Rob came round to give us a quote we were very reassured by how up front he was and how clear about timings and costs. When he managed to squeeze in removing our rotting decking at short notice and brought round a team that made short work of the job we were delighted. He helped us keep costs low while ensuring we were left with a fully cleared area free from rotting wood and trip hazards. Exactly what he'd promised. The tea and biscuits were the least we could offer up! We will definitely ask Rob back for future work.
Rob did an impressive job with mine and a neighbour's drive which was damaged due to tree roots. He lifted up all the block pavers and after preparing the ground, re-laid both drives to perfection. Rob is very dependable, and the only time he was unable to work was when the weather wouldn't allow it. No complaints and very happy with the work he's done - 10/10.
We had good rapport with Rob and Logan from first contact to finished job. The new patio looks great. First he had to clear the ground of tree stumps, weeds and shrubs the remove lots of soil. It was hard graft for them in inclement weather but they toiled away and got the job done. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Keeping them supplied with tea and biscuits is a given. My wife and I are so please with the result and the very fair price that we have already booked him for another big job.
Very reliable friendly team. Turn up when promised and arrived on time every day. We would definitely recommend. We had a base laid for a summer house and a patio levelled up. Very satisfied with both.
Rob and Logan have done 2 jobs for us recently, roof work to repair a fault performed by another trader Rob did a great job on the roof stopping the leak. I've now used him to lay a Summerhouse base and relay my large patio. Brilliant work, I would highly recommend. He was recommended to me by another satisfied customer.
Difficult to believe that all the glowing references below are true - but they are. Trustworthy, skilful, experienced, punctual, tidy and amiable, Rob and his able young colleague Logan were a pleasure to have around. The more tea you supply them with, the harder they work. Rob completed extensive paving works in three areas of my garden using different materials. He was unfazed by unexpected problems and he worked out solutions to our mutual satisfaction.
We had Rob out to do some relatively minor repair work repointing etc. He was friendly, professional and we are pleased with the work he did. We won't hesitate using Rob again for future jobs.
Communications were good both before and during the work, and Robert and his colleagues turned up exactly when they said they would. It was clear that they take pride in what they do and all the work was carried out to a high standard. We will be using them again for future work.

Rob came to our property to re-bed some ridge tiles and fix a damaged concrete lintel above our living room window. Both Rob and his colleague were nothing but professional the entire time they were working, and the quality of work was exceptional. They arrived promptly on the arranged date and time and got straight on with the work, and even tidied up fully afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rob for any building work if you're looking for a reliable, professional, reasonably priced and all around friendly builder. We will definitely be using him in the future!
Rob and Andy did a variety of work over 3 days including ridge tiles and lead flashing. As always excellent work for a fair price. Highly recommended.
Rob responded quickly to our request for some remedial work on our extension. He provided a quote on his first visit explaining it was based on his daily rate for two people. He and his assistant completed the job in the day we agreed to and to a high standard and also did a another small job whilst he was here. We are very happy to recommend Rob and would happily use him again.

Rob responded to an emergency stone repair which was holding up the sale of our house. He and Andy sourced stone with difficulty following lockdown and came very quickly. They did a fantastic job, high quality workmanship in a tricky environment. Can't praise them enough, choccy biccies and lashings of tea was all that was needed. Thanks guys.

A small roofing repair job carried out at short notice. Works carried out promptly, before and after photos of roof shown and cost down on estimate because work was rather less than first anticipated. Rob and his colleague really instil confidence and I can recommend him very highly.

Highly recommended. Great communication. Rob replied quickly to our enquiry. He gave us a clear quote for an honest assessment of roof repairs and kept us updated on when he could fit the work in. On the day Rob showed us clear photos from the roof before and after the repairs.
My problem involved a leaking roof near to the chimney stack. Despite being very busy with similar jobs, Rob responded well within the promised period. He arrived promptly and displayed a very friendly, helpful and professional approach, keeping me informed at all stages of the work. He soon identified the problem and explained the situation to me by using photos. I was also pleased that he used the opportunity to inspect the whole roof for problems. Whilst carrying out the work, he added extra measures to combat the problem in future, and showed me the completed job with further photos. I was very pleased with the quality of workmanship and commitment to the job by Rob and his team, despite the freezing cold conditions on the roof.
