Stephen Fowle and team did a great job on fitting our perfect Howden's kitchen and utility room. Stephen managed the whole project end to end, bringing in all his trusted subcontractors including plumber, plasterer, electrician. Nothing was too much for Stephen and team, with them overcoming various challenges around existing electrics and such like. All workmanship was second to none. All delivered to time and budget and we are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen and utility room. Shame we can't attach photos here, thank you SF Carpentry and Construction!

We were very happy with Stephen's work in laying a new engineered wood floor. He listened carefully to our requirements, in particular the urgency with which we needed the work to be done. He responded positively by fitting us in at short notice, for which we were especially pleased. He communicated well and his general manner inspired confidence.

Stephen did a fantastic job laying a wood floor in a quite tight room. He left a fantastically neat job with skirting and even sealant applied. He made what was a tatty room, now one I am proud of. I was given a fair estimate and was consulted with the whole way through. Thrilled with the result.

Stephen was very professional and did excellent work on redesigning my lounge doors, tiling in the kitchen and resealing in the bathroom. He left everywhere cleaned and tidy after finishing the work. I would highly recommend him.

I looked at Stephen's reviews and asked him to look at the work I wanted completing. I liked his manner from the outset and I felt he understood what I wanted. He made very helpful suggestions if I asked his advice and anything he recommended was spot on! He is a craftsman and his work is outstanding. He fitted a bespoke kitchen and an oak staircase. He also fitted a new door and completed all the tiling. I am absolutely delighted with everything he has done, his attention to detail is amazing. He has photos of the work which I am sure he will forward if you request them. He is also a lovely genuine guy and he will definitely be my go to person for the additional work I require in the future. He also recommended some other workers for part of my project. Like Stephen they were first class! Highly recommended craftsman!!!

We asked Stephen to partition our living room with sliding doors, he came as promised before Christmas to measure up but said he couldn't start the project until late January as he was booked up until then. Stephen rang us in mid January to say he'd had a deferment due to illness and could he start the following Monday. He came as promised and it was an education watching him work, his preparation was meticulous and the precision of his work was also a credit to him. Suffice to say that the final result was superb he truly is a master of his trade, nothing was too much trouble and he was thoroughly good company too. I was very pleased with the kitchen tiling that Stephen did and also the painting of a ceiling. Stephen was also very happy to do several other small jobs. Definitely a trusted trader who turns up on time and leaves everything tidy.

Stephen installed a loft hatch and ladders system for us. He was easy to communicate with. He fitted the work in around other work to meet our tight timeframe. Highly recommend.

Stephen designed and built a new garden fence. Stephen gave us several choices of design and took care of everything, even returning to the timber merchant as he wasn't happy with the quality of wood on the first visit. He is probably the tidiest worker ever! The quality of construction is fantastic and the overall finish is so impressive. Excellent value for money, highly recommend.

Stephen did such a fantastic job when laying stone floor tiles in my hallway, I asked him to quote for a new kitchen. Stephen is so knowledgable. He advised me on several aspects of my new kitchen: supplier, layout, finish and maximising storage in a small space. He built my kitchen using an online programme, sent me a very fair quote and started the work in a timely manner. He is a perfectionist and completed the job to the highest standards. I am so, so thrilled with my new kitchen, it is more than I could have imagined. Stephen transformed a very small kitchen with no straight lines into a beautiful, functional space.
