Duncan did an excellent job on our kitchen with tiling under the cooker hood and painting the walls, ceiling and doors. The work undertaken is very professional. He is a clean and tidy workman. The price was very reasonable too and we would not hesitate to use him again and recommend him.

Duncan's decorating skills, based on his many years of experience, produced excellent results on all external aspects of an extensive and difficult property. His ability to skilfully carry out minor building repairs/maintenance prior to decorating was an added bonus. The work was agreed in October 2022 and commenced/completed as scheduled in May 2023. We are delighted with Duncan's work, who surely meets the definition of 'Trusted Trader'.
Duncan kept to agreed appointments and timescales was always pleasant and professional and worked with the minimum of disruption given that he was working on the hallway and staircase. Very pleased with the end result and would certainly recommend him.

Duncan gave me a quote, and expected start date. He arrived on time on the expected date, with no fuss or chasing. He is hard working, friendly and very pleasant. He provided a very professional service and is very tidy. He finished the job early and reduced his quote - showing that he is very honest. He is highly recommended and I will be using him for any future decorating needs!
Duncan turned up when he said for the quote, gave full written quotation. Reasonable deposit and then was booked for a future date. Turned up on the expected date, no stress, no chasing. Nice chap to have around, appreciates a cuppa and tidy worker. 2 weeks work completed all good, very satisfied. Less time than estimated so charged less, so feel fair and honest trader - such a nice change. Worth the wait when he's busy - at least you can guarantee he'll be there when he says!
Duncan repainted the outside of our house which was in very poor condition. He replaced parts of the weather boards and did a wonderful job to a very high standard. He is a lovely polite man and I thoroughly recommend him. We will definitely be asking him for future indoor jobs.

Very happy with the painting Duncan has done on the exterior of the house which included woodwork, plaster and pebble dash. On time and on budget, despite the weather being typically Buxtonian at times with heavy rain. The house has been transformed. As others have said, he is a pleasant man to have working for you.
