The salesman was helpful, the surveyor came on time, the installation team arrived as expected, did the job and cleared away the unwanted bits. Would be pleased to use them again.

Dreadful service from start to finish, measurements incorrect, damage to parts fitted, door not opening properly, emails not answered, appointments missed and 14 weeks to get all the problems sorted! Absolutely awful company!

Can highly recommend this company for excellent customer service from initial discussion, through site survey and installation of doors and windows. The only company of three who followed through with our enquiry. Installation was carried out on time, very professionally with superb attention to detail and finish. We visited the showroom of this company three times while looking for models of flush sash windows. Ben Russell, the sales rep, helped us to choose Modus windows and assured us that although the old model of Modus was been discontinued, it was still available to order on our last visit on the 17th of November 2020. We went ahead with the order on the day and booked the fitting for the 19th of January 2021. On the day of the fitting we realized that the windows delivered are not the old Modus model that we ordered, but the new model. We accepted to go ahead with the fitting in order to avoid a further 2-3 month wait. However, we are rather 2 about this. The fitters felt sorry about the problem although it clearly wasn't their fault. Since this business is a Trusted Trader I suppose we should at least receive an apology. First of all, if a model is not available it should not be onthe showroom. Second, the salesmen should be clearly aware of that and let the customers know. It appears that the business is not well organized and run. The fitters did a good job. TRADERS REPLY: Mr and Mrs Caamano came into our showroom in need of 3 replacement flush system windows. I recommended the Modus Flush window - a system that up until January 2021 we manufactured as our standard flush system. Once a sales visit to the property had taken place, a quote was created for 3 windows in the Modus Flush system. This was accepted and at this point we booked in for a survey to collect accurate measurements ready for manufacture. At the time of the survey our surveyor mentioned to the customer of a new Logik Flush window that our factory were beginning to implement as another flush casement option. Mr and Mrs Caamano came into the showroom post survey to have a look at the differences between the Modus and Logik flush systems. As the Logik system was a new system we only had a sample to show, this was not displayed. We also had a Modus S Flush sample which was next to the Logik Flush sample. This was a test piece from our factory and not something that we offer as a Trade Windows product, this was made aware to Mr and Mrs Caamano. The specifications were finalised on the day and the Modus Flush casement windows were signed for. On the day of fit, our fitters called the office to explain Mr Caamano was not happy with the windows presented to fit. He expected to see the Modus S Flush system ? instead, as signed for, it was the Modus Flush system. I had a video call with Mr Caamano the morning of fitting to explain that the window presented is the window that he had signed for and that the Modus S Flush was not a system we offered. The video call ended with Mr Caamano accepting the windows and allowed our fitters to fit.

Used several times before and they provide a good product with skilled fitting. Very good at tidying up and removing old windows/doors. There is a current problem with covid epidemic. Fitters paid no attention to covid restrictions. Much of the work was outside but when working inside the house they had no masks and no concept of social distancing. We would not have them back until we are vaccinated.

Did not manage customer expectations well at all. I asked questions at every opportunity if the installations team were skilled in brickwork and the answer was yes. Installation team on the day blamed a poor job on the existing brickwork, which I expected would be rectified by a person skilled in brickwork on the day of fitting. Trade Windows now says the brickwork was not their responsibility. Overall quality of installation was also a bit poor and rushed, leaving leaks and poor application of silicone sealant.

I chose Trade Windows as I have used them before so knew they were reliable and they proved me right, the two men were polite got on with the job and when finished cleaned up after them to a high standard very satisfied.

I used Trade Windows Derby because they had carried out several jobs for me over the past years, and I was completely satisfied with their products and work every time. These included replacement windows and door in another property, replacement windows in this property, a beautiful conservatory incorporating a wet-room shower and toilet cubicle, and now a new front door. I cannot recommend Trade Windows Derby highly enough.

All in all an enjoyable purchase experience plus we are delighted with the end result.
