Highly recommend- communication and work from Dan was great.

Dan and Adrian were very professional, efficient and friendly. They went beyond doing an excellent job, providing really helpful advice on my electricity meter, and leaving the house tidy and welcoming after each day's work. Dan was very prompt in responding, came out and fixed a couple of things while talking through options for the EV chargepoint we'll be getting him to do for us shortly. Dan visited our house in Buxton as arranged to conduct an initial check of the current electrics ahead of upgrading our very old consumer unit, but during conversation confirmed my suspicions that a full rewire of the house would be a more sensible approach. He didn't charge anything for the time spent on the initial visit, even though he had blocked out time from his schedule to conduct testing, which I felt was very good of him. We arranged dates for the rewire and, since I wouldn't be in the property at the time, kept in contact via email and phone. He was provided with a key and I never worried about security. We cleared as much of the furniture as we could to make it easier for him, but he also worked around what we weren't able to move. Dan did every thing we requested on our overview plan, but was also proactive at checking details and making suggestions and improvements throughout. He also recommended a plasterer, who similarly did an efficient job and with whom he oversaw the exchange of the key to ensure everything was done within the requested timeframe. I wouldn't hesitate to use Current Standard again.

Dan supplied and fitted a new fuse box for us. He was very informative and knowledgeable, and completed the work promptly and to a very high standard. He has a pleasant and professional manner and we would have no hesitation in using his services again.

I'm a DIYer by nature, but knew that working on a consumer unit was beyond me. I'm really glad Dan was willing to help. He knew so much more than me, and was happy to explain it all. His tester also showed that two of my six new MCBOs failed their trip requirements, which could have been a life-or-death issue but for his catching it.
Dan arrived on the date agreed and did a variety of jobs exactly how I wanted them done at a fair price.

Great job completed, replacing fuse box and installing bathroom lighting and towel rail. Very good explanation of procedure in advance, including other work that might be required following change of fuse box. In the event no further work was required but it was good to make an informed decision in advance with regard to the final cost. Would definitely recommend.
