Neil was prompt in replying to my request for hedge cutting and trimming a couple of trees and in providing a quote. He was very knowledgeable and understood exactly what I wanted. The four lads who came to do the job were a great group who worked non stop, understood what I wanted, consulting me throughout the day. They did a really good job and brilliant tidy up, clearing all the debris away. I will definitely be using them again and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Neil Tomlinson and his team have been maintaining the trees and hedges in our Matlock garden for at least a decade. Neil offers expert advice and plans the year's work. His team are excellent, obliging, thoughtful, efficient and tidy. The work is always professionally completed with the minimum of disruption and the garden is left debris free. Perfect!

Excellent service from beginning to end from Neil, Matt and Tommy. They did a fantastic job of pruning two trees, especially as, due to the slope of our garden, they had to use a harness instead of a cherry picker. The trees look great, and the willow especially is so well shaped and letting in more sun. They were so professional and friendly, and cleared up so well afterwards - even the driveway where the chipper was was pristine when they left. Can thoroughly recommend!

Neil was very accommodating in that he moved the date of his work to suit our needs. He and his men did a very thorough job, they left the site extremely tidy and were helpful in cutting up our old ash tree in such a way that no part of it was wasted, log seating, split logs for our wood burner and bark clippings to use as a mulch, all of which were carried to the appropriate storage places. Job well done, thanks Neil and team.

We're extremely pleased with the work carried out by Neil's team. They regularly checked we were happy with how our tree was being trimmed, did a great job and left everything very tidy. We'll be using them again!

Approached Neil for a quote to cut some trees back in my garden. From getting the quote to getting the work done, Neil and his team have been polite, friendly and professional. The price was reasonable and the team that came to do the work, Matty and Tommy, were brilliant. They showed up on time, introduced themselves, did a fantastic job of sorting the trees and conifer hedge out and calmed down a nervous neighbour. They also checked I was happy with the worked at each stage and cleared everything up too, they left the garden tidier, than when they arrived, all in all a great job, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I found Neil of N and G Tomlinson very well qualified, very knowledgeable and helpful yet at the same time very affable with fair pricing. Free estimates. He arrived very punctually with his colleague and possessed every tool and safety equipment necessary for tree-felling of any size. They worked continuously without a break their tea we made for them going cold because of their industry {honest}, and completed a perfect job before tidying up. I am totally grateful and I recommend them totally.

Brilliant service and workmanship. We had several large conifers and holly trees plus cotoneasters going wild and Neil and his team cleared them all within 2 days and cleaned up afterwards. Great bunch of lads that arrived early both days and got on with the job and nothing was too much trouble, i.e. I asked for the odd extra shrub and tree to be taken out or demonstrating logging technique for the stumps etc. None of the sitting in trucks on the phone or bad language. Would definitely be my first port of call for any future work.
