Darren at Gbuild has just completed a one storey extension to replace a conservatory. His quoted price was very fair, and the quote contained all the build stage details and costs. Darren discussed options for roof light, and mentioned lanterns, which was a superb idea. His work is of a very high standard, and keeps mess to a minimum. He turns up when he says he will and puts in a full days work. We now have a lovely bright spacious extension with a great roofing feature. I would strongly recommend Darren of Gbuild for all aspects of construction.

We got GBuild to quote for a single story back and side extension which doubles the foot print of the house. Their price was the best and it still came in on budget over a year after quoting. Darren works very hard to get the project done on time and on budget. Excellent build quality, would highly recommend.

Have had two jobs done by GBuild now, a bedroom extension and a quick ceiling re-board and plaster. Both jobs brilliantly done. Darren came and looked at my job on the Monday afternoon and came and did it Tuesday lunch. He did me a good job and I was very satisfied and would recommend him to anyone wanting work on roofs.

We had an extension completed a couple of years ago and the original build was extremely poor and so we contacted Darren to see what he could do to help put it right. Darren was extremely fair, suggesting what was important to do and what could be left. He kept costs down wherever possible without compromising on quality. He arrived when he said he would, was extremely clean and tidy and for the first time in four years, I have a water tight roof. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GBuild and wish we'd found them in the first place and saved ourselves a lot of stress.

I am extremely happy with the work Darren has carried out in my lounge. He has removed a large plaster mantelpiece, marble fireplace surround and hearth, bricked up the hole and boarded over, plastered and made good the skirting board. He has also added a door in an open plan archway, moved an electrical socket and installed under floor insulation to the whole of the ground floor of my 3 bed semi detached home. Darren was also happy to complete a number of smaller, incidental jobs at no extra cost. All the work undertaken was completed for a very reasonable price and at an excellent standard. Darren arrived on time each day for the 3 days of the job, ensuring he left each evening in a tidy state, even bringing his own vacuum cleaner and cleaning up after himself. I would certainly recommend Darren for any building work, and am so impressed with his work, that I am asking him to quote me for a single story extension I am having at the back of my house. We have a car port that was bowing in the middle due to poor construction. The original builder promised to come and rectify it but never showed up. He was not on Trusted Trader. I contacted G Build and Darren gave us a fair quote. He came and did the job. He was efficient, clean and tidy. The car port is much improved and since Darren did the job we have had no collection of rainwater on the roof. Before it was done we had a "lake" on the top which the pigeons used to bathe in! The pigeons will have to find somewhere else. I would definitely recommend G Build.

Wanted the back of my house and attached 12ft x 30 ft garage pointing. Looked on Trusted Trader and sent out 4 enquiries. Out of the 3 that replied and visited, Darren, of G-Build was the only one that took detailed measurements and sketches. Darren sent a detailed quote explaining details of work to be carried out and material and labour costs. Not the best of jobs, but Darren worked tirelessly and not a single word of complaint. On completion, Darren asked me to view all the work was to my satisfaction before tidying up and leaving the job. Highly recommended.
