We contacted CLR because of the glowing reviews on Trusted Trader. We were not disappointed. Roger was very helpful in turning our ideas into reality, making tactful suggestions and working out the details with us. He and his team were very hard working and considerate and we are delighted with our new patio, paving, steps, walls and path.
I can't comment on work done because the job was never started. Roger came to look, quoted to do the job, quote accepted, he said he would bring a sample of material to be used. He didn't bring the sample and no communication for weeks.
I was completely satisfied with this trader. They are honest professionals with high standards and offering good value for money.
Rodger and his team did a fantastic job on my driveway. They worked hard despite the searing heat. I cannot thank them enough for making the driveway safer for my disabled husband. I was very lucky because I hadn't heard of CRL Landscapes before but I wanted a local firm and saw them on Facebook. Roger responded immediately to my request of a quote and ideas for my patio. Michael and Aiden who actually worked on the patio were very polite, industrious and tidy. Boards were put down to save damage to the lawn and everything was done to limit any unnecessary disruption. Everything was done on trust and and payment was only required on the completion of the work. I would highly recommend Roger and his team to anyone.
Excellent work by Stuart and Steve who worked closely with us to get the finish we imagined. This was a big project needing approx. 100 tonnes earth removing to level gardens, put in drains, build walls and lay patio's. All this and not one mark on our newly rendered property! They ensured the area was tidy and safe throughout. When additional CLR guys helped they were all polite and respectful. CLR worked with us to make adjustments during the project but kept costs fair, which with shortage in materials was a challenge. Happy to recommend from the work done for us. Thank you guys.
Did work that was asked for and more, especially under difficult times getting materials. Polite and efficient, good workmanship and fairly priced. Having them back to do more landscaping so would certainly recommend.
We have just had our front and back gardens landscaped. Fantastic results. All people connected with CLR Landscapes were brilliant workers and really happy to do anything. From Roger, who did the original plans and oversaw the work, to the two landscapers, Steve and Stuart, who did a fabulous job and Jack who did some labouring for them. We would highly recommend them for any work you may want doing.
CLR Landscape landscaped our back garden. They took up the old tired lawn, levelled the ground, laid paving slabs and a new artificial lawn. The result was a beautiful new garden. Many thanks to all the team, you did a terrific job. No problems at all, it was all left clean and tidy and done in good time.
CLR did a great job on my patio, with paving, wall and steps. They were professional and punctual throughout, on site from start to finish, the guys were polite and kept us up to speed with developments, gave us ideas and advice. I chose them primarily be cause I wanted someone local and I'd known of Roger for a while. I wasn't disappointed.
A very tired old fence that was covered in ivy needed to be removed and replaced, new fence panels in an existing run of fence, a tree to be taken out and a run down decking area to be replaced with a patio. CLR Landscapes came to quote, providing the full cost there and then which meant no waiting to hear back which was great. It took just over a week to complete, mainly because of sourcing materials due to COVID and the impact this has had on the building trade. Throughout the work I requested several changes to the original job which were actioned with no issue. The removal of the ivy caused more mess than was thought so the team added a layer of white stone over my existing boarder to freshen up the area, free of charge which was extremely kind. They cleared away, tidying down each night to ensure I could still access what was needed. The guys were lovely, very down to earth and I'd happily recommend their work.
Great job done by CLR, Roger and team did a great job, laying 2 patios and pointing rear of house. Nice guys worked hard in rubbish weather and got finished quickly with no mess. Thanks!
CLR Landscapes, recently completed the replacement of a patio at our home. We chose them based on reviews on this site. The work was carried out to our total satisfaction, in the harshest of weather conditions by a very skilled team. We were consulted all the way through the project by the team, to ensure that our expectations were met. Roger's team, which were Steve and Stuart have done an exceptional job in creating a new driveway and fencing. This was no easy thing to do, as it meant removing a lot of trees and shrubs. I am disabled and they were still able to make access easy for me with their understanding and consideration. I would recommend this company to any one. Part of our double slatted fence blew down in heavy winds and the 6 posts butted against a pavement /road which meant that the foundations were too solid for me to dig safely. CLR visited, quoted and completed the work with a team of 4. They worked hard and skilfully put up the 6 posts and associated horizontals. I am really pleased with the work and recommend this company without hesitation.
Had a very large patio and front drive laid and fencing by Roger's team. They did an excellent job from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. Polite, hardworking and helpful throughout the whole process. Looks brilliant and would recommend without hesitation.

Roger's team dismantled a large shed, cleared and cemented an area at the rear of the shed, dug footings and built two retaining walls 2m high. They repaired, re-positioned and re-built the shed to a better standard. His team worked above and beyond, treated the job as if it was their own, were very polite, helpful, knowledgeable, experienced and extremely professional. Upon completion the site was cleared, cleaned and tidied to a standard we've not experienced before with other builders. I would definitely recommend Roger and his team.

An absolutely fantastic job; we've had a larger than average patio put down in natural stone slabs with a pergola over the top. It is over and above expectations, seriously over and above our expectations!! Genuine quality materials and workmanship, delivered by prompt, clean, courteous, professionals with a can-do attitude with some good old fashioned customer service thrown in. Our little house has no access to the rear so everything had to come through our property, which was left spotless at the end of every day. From the initial quotation which included design and planning, I can hand on heart highly recommend. They even looked after our dog Saxon. Thank you Roger and team. You will be back.

We used CLR to renovate our front driveway. They did a fantastic job and in one day, they worked fast and even unattended. I would highly recommend them for anyone to use, they were recommended to ourselves by a neighbour who had used them. We will be using them again for further work.
I met CLR by chance in a builders merchant and we got chatting. After swapping details, Roger called within a couple of days and quoted for a 14m fence at our convenience. A fortnight later, the job was done very successfully. I'd had several local quotes and Rogers was by far the most competitive. Very pleased with the product, workmanship and price, and will definitely use CLR again.
Roger and the guys were brilliant, came out over the Christmas break to repair and reset our block paving driveway after it flooded due to no drainage and starting to cause damage. We moved here early December. Roger was honest about the work required, gave great advice, and really worked hard to get the job done as soon as possible over the Christmas holidays. He explained everything they were doing and why,and the guys left the property clear and tidy at end of each day. We really recommend using Roger and the team, hard working, good value for a money and a brilliant job!
Roger and his team came out to do a tailor made fence for a community project. After being let down by another company, CLR Landscapes were both quick to respond and swift to get started through to completion. Highly recommend, the fence looks amazing and they did encounter a few issues along the way but were so quick and knowledgeable in how to approach these. Would definitely hire again.
Roger came to look at the job and understood that we needed the work doing in 2 stages! The first job was to build a retaining wall and steps, then following the completion of the kitchen extension we needed them back to lay the patio! He kept to the time scale being on time and on budget! He was very professional and hardworking and the finished results were excellent! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him!
From the initial contact with Roger, nothing was too much trouble for him or his team. He came out to see us at our convenience and at short notice, and spent a good amount of time understanding exactly what we wanted as well as suggesting his own interpretations - that actually turned out better than we originally pictured. Both Roger and the team were easy to get along with, polite, and focused on making sure that we got the garden that we really wanted. Although this had the potential to get messy due to the size of the project and very wet weather, they always managed to keep things moving, organised, and tidy, and kept us informed at every stage. As well as impressing us with the quality of their work, they also managed to impress some of our neighbours resulting in 2 additional pieces of work! We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Did an absolutely fantastic job putting up our fence in Tibshelf. Worked non stop and completed in a day when it was easily a 2-3 day job. Custom made gate included. Excellent finish and even cleared pre existing mess! Very reasonable quote for the job and will be using again for future projects. 100% recommend.
