Flat roof started leaking in Jan 2021. Antony arrived quickly and covered the roof with tarpaulin until the weather improved. They worked for several days in February very cold and did a much better job than the original roofers for a very reasonable price. Cannot fault anything.
Tony and Damon were excellent, arrived on time, worked flat out to finish the job before some bad weather. They were both polite and professional, they did a great job, thank you both. I would highly recommend this company.
Called Antony early evening, he came and inspected the roof the following day and we agreed it required a complete new roof. Made temporary repairs to stop the leak and then two weeks later came and re-boarded and felted the entire area. Worked from 7.45 am to 6pm. He and his colleague were polite at all times, and the quality of their work is top class. They left the site clean and tidy and the skip was removed the following day. The cost was extremely fair considering the high standard. We will recommend him without hesitation.

We are delighted with the repairs Antony made to our leaking concrete garage roof, which included removing and refitting a polycarbonate which overhangs the garage. The repair work is very neat and tidy, and was completed on time. Communication was good throughout. Recommended!

I'm really pleased with the work completed by AG Flat Roofing. The process was smooth from beginning to end, including discussing options to fix existing defects to a flat roof, the timely supply of a comprehensive quote listing the options discussed, to arranging a convenient time to start work and finishing ahead of schedule. This work included new drainage, under cladding and fascia's and the end results looks fantastic. The quote was very competitive and I would not hesitate to use this trader again.

I was very impressed with Mr Gilthorpe. I rang this morning to ask him to check my roof as it seemed to be leaking. I had been advised by another firm that it was a problem with a seam in the felting. They only did rubber roofing, not felted roofs. Mr Gilthorpe was able to come this afternoon and, after a careful inspection, said that it wasn't the roof that was the problem but the wall which was damp. He repaired the felting for which he refused to take payment other than a cup of tea. When the roof does require work on it, I will definitely be contacting him again.
Tony came the same day I rang him to look at the job - it was raining so he couldn't work - and texted me later with a very fair price. He came at 7.30 on the day and was there to receive the skip he had arranged. I had nothing to do other than offer him and his assistant a morning and afternoon mug of tea. They did an excellent job with no fuss, swept and tidied up and the skip was gone the next day. You could certainly tell he had decades of experience. A quiet, polite man who I very much recommend.
