AS Pest Control Solutions

2 years ago I bought a property and once the winter months hit, it became quickly apparent that there was a pest problem. I reached out to the council for help where they sent out their own pest control. Their only solution was to bait my loft with poison with regular checks. This unfortunately solved nothing. It would kill the rats, but left me with giant meat flies throughout the house. This didn't solve how they were getting inside my loft. I later found out that the house had, had this pest problem for a number of years where they had even had cameras up and down the sewage pipes yet still nothing solved. Summer months came and the problem disappeared however winter came back and so did the rats making mine and my children's life a misery. Instead on contacting the council again we contacted AS Pest Control and my only regret is we didn't contact him the first time around. He checked my property and found the problem straight away where the 2 companies had previously failed. Which just shows you how amazingly good he is at his job. Drain issue under the footings solved.

Excellent service from Andy, would highly recommend. My partner and I just purchased our first home, and we were anxious when our new neighbours warned us of a long term problem of rats in the loft, with most of the activity in winter. I went on the BPCA website and called Andy. I explained the issue and he said the most likely root cause could be bad drains or plumbing. Even from the first phone call I could tell he really knew his stuff. He was prompt in making a time to come assess the problem, and very thorough in his investigation of the property, all while patiently explaining everything. He found the entry route uncovered part of an outside drain and hole with access to wall cavity and my dad was able to fix that over the weekend. He came back two weeks later for a follow up and I feel much more confident we should get to settle in to our new home without any uninvited rat visitors! Overall, excellent value for a professional and friendly service. We wouldn't have solved this without Andy's expertise. Thank you!

Andy has been coming to my home for a few years and I've always found him to be very polite and professional. He always rings the night before to remind me he's coming the next day and what time to expect him. He's very dedicated to his job and never fails to provide excellent service.

I contacted AS at 7:05 am. Great reception on calling and Andrew was very helpful and knowledgeable when speaking to me. Getting in touch and getting the process started so early in the day was a real plus. That professionalism continued when he visited later in the day, inspecting the property, suggesting steps I could take to prevent issues in future, then getting on with the job at hand. Andrew explained how things would progress and scheduled a return visit. Good as his word he contacted me the day before to confirm the return visit. Once again he inspected the premises and satisfied him self that the work done has been effective. Throughout Andrew was courteous, friendly, considerate and professional. Really highly recommended. I booked Andy's services after seeing so many positive google reviews, and I'm really really glad I did! Within 24 hours of my initial text, Andy was round assessing and sorting the problem. He explained everything really clearly without being patronising or 'mansplaining' which I must admit happens more often than not. His quotes were really reasonable and one massive tick for us was that he was super organised and his customer service was impeccable. His follow up visit was well communicated and to be honest, the whole issue was dealt with perfectly. Of course I hope no one else has a rodent problem, but if you do, I have no issue recommending Andy. Thank you!

Prompt and thorough service provided by AS Pest Control Solutions. Advice given and followed through by us the customer. Vulnerable sites baited on first visit and checked out on second visit and all clear given. Advice given about protection throughout the winter months. Every effort made to adhere to COVID guidelines, mask worn throughout the visit, clean overshoes worn indoors, ladder dusted down before being brought inside so every effort was made not to make or leave any mess. Very pleased with the service and would recommend this firm to anyone with a vermin problem.

Absolutely fantastic!! I have just renovated a house and ended up with rats. It was really worrying but AS Pest Control sorted it. After 3 days they were gone… Phew. There was still a lot of poison left over 3 weeks later. I felt very reassured in good hands and not ripped off. From a Covid 19 point of view Andrew wore a mask and gloves and asked to keep social distanced throughout both visits. Thank you.

Andy will do the job properly, professionally, discreetly, honestly and not charge you a fortune. Be wary of other companies diagnosing your problem over the phone, if I hadn't found AS Pest Control Solutions, I would have been ripped off! I used Andy in summer 2020. I was being bitten at night in bed and couldn't figure out the cause, but the bites were itchy, painful and making me thoroughly miserable. I thought it was fleas but daily vacuuming the house from top to bottom, washing bed linen every day for weeks and spending fortunes on treatment gave no relief so I was desperate. I rang various companies who all diagnosed bed bugs without investigating, quoting hundreds of pounds and were talking about me throwing away mattresses and furnishings!! Andy however, listened, asked questions, refused to diagnose anything until he had identified the cause, came to look at the weird insect things found on my windowsill and left an insect trap under my bed. The problem turned out to be Bird Mites from a hole above my bedroom window in such a nesting bird had gone so I ended up being dinner! Andy was punctual, reliable, kind.

I woke up to discover tiny bugs in my bedroom and had no clue what they were, my entire body was covered with very itchy, uncomfortable bites. After a ridiculously priced quote from Rentokil I was recommended to Andrew and thank goodness I was!! After an initial telephone chat to assess our issue, we discussed a nest outside my window and he confirmed bird mites!! The quote was more than reasonable and Andrew offered to come the next day but we had to delay slightly for us to assess the nest for birds. He has visited today and honestly he's the most polite, professional gentleman and he really does know his stuff! He has removed the nest, fully treated the exterior and the interior upstairs of our property, even In the loft. He wasn't leaving anything untreated. He explains everything he is doing and all the after care instructions very clearly. I would not hesitate to recommend Andrew. Would highly recommend Andrew. Quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. Had to use twice in the last six weeks, firstly for a bee nest in an airbrick near my French Doors, and then again for a wasp nest under the foundation of my garage. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

When I discovered two wasp nests in my shed during lock down I was unsure whether the issue could be solved quickly and easily. However, having been pointed in the direction of AS Pest Control Solutions I soon came to realize that there was no need to be concerned.
