Honest, effective, prompt. I began working in IT in the late 1990s, when I joined Spectrum Components in Little Eaton, wholesaling computer components, building and repairing computers and laptops. This provided the opportunity to learn about many aspects of IT from cabling and networking through software to consumables and accessories. After 7 years in that position I worked in IT retail in Ashbourne for another 9 1/2 years before deciding to set up my own business so that I could offer the level of service that I wanted to - concentrating on high levels of customer care. I established my own business in 2016 and haven't looked back since. I offer fast response often same-day and effective solutions in understandable language and a friendly manner. I also enjoy giving computer, tablet and phone tuition in your home. It is a real pleasure to see a person improve their knowledge and skills so that they can use their equipment confidently and fluently. I have discovered that it is best to tailor every lesson exactly to each pupil's needs. I also offer an equipment recycling service - with 0% going to landfill, as it is so important to consider the future generations to come. Part of this service includes secure wiping hard drives to MOD standard, so that any personal data is impossible to recover, giving you peace of mind. Having worked in the trade for 20+ years, I can source new equipment at trade prices and offer good advice regarding what equipment is best suited to your needs. Jeremy was very good after my desktop computer ceased to start up. I contacted him on a Monday, agreed to deliver the PC to his home address that afternoon and he rang me late morning on Tuesday to say he had diagnosed the problem, replaced the offending part from stock and it was available for collection! When I collected my PC he also talked me through some software he had installed to synchronise back-ups to an external hard drive and also answered a further query that had been bugging me for a long while. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second time I've used Jeremy's service and expertise. The first time was when my Dell laptop ground to a halt and I'm pleased to say that a year on it is still running better than when it was brand new. I am so impressed with the service Jeremy provides and at such a reasonable cost. My computer was running increasingly and frustrating slowly. I was worried that it might become unusable and I would lose all my data and software but was also concerned about the time it might take to resolve the problem as I use the computer daily. Jeremy procured and installed a new printer for us very quickly and efficiently, a good guy and a local professional who knows his trade inside out.
I asked Jeremy to help me out with two laptops based on the strength of his past reviews and was glad that I did. He replaced the screen on my wife's laptop which had drowned! and following further discussion with him opted for a new drive and also a backup drive. The machine is now so much faster and we have the security of being able to easily back up. My own computer also needed a new screen and hinge and again also chose a new drive plus back up drive as well as faster RAM - again much faster. For both machines Jeremy transferred all data nothing was lost anywhere and sorted out some other incidental niggles and was always available to explain what he was doing and answer any queries. All in all a good experience and cheaper than buying two new replacement computers which would not have been to the new faster specification.

When my PC hard drive failed, I feared I had lost all my files, which included irreplaceable photos. Not only did Jeremy restore the PC to a fully functioning condition, updated to Windows 10 and a full suite of software, but all my old files were recovered. I now have a quite high spec PC at a much lower cost than buying new and I have my old files. I also had a laptop with an intermittent fault, which other companies failed to diagnose and resolve after several attempts, restored to reliable working and upgraded spec, again much less costly than replacement.

Jeremy made me feel that I was talking to an expert. He was constantly trying to find the most cost effective and value for money alternatives when fixing my pc. With little expense, he made my computer like lightning and saved me hundreds of pounds as I was ready to bin it and buy an expensive new one. I'm glad I didn't.
