Greg came round to investigate strange noises I was hearing around the house. He was amazing, and totally got how I felt about my concerns. He found the problem and put my mind at ease, and gave me advice on how to manage any future issues. He even offered to put my Christmas boxes In the loft afterwards, as I'd not wanted to go up there! Such a lovely gentleman, don't ring anyone else.

Excellent service from DSY Pest Control. We have used them for wasps, hornets and rats. Greg attends promptly and is very knowledgeable. He has a wealth of experience but also is very up to date and offers evidence based advice on management after assessing the problem. He follows up cases with site visits but is also available to discuss any concerns in between visits. Particularly when dealing with rats this level of support is very important. I highly recommend this business.
Gregg came and inspected the property. He concluded that I did not have as big of a problem as I originally thought. He moved my cameras so I could track movement and ensure that the problem does not persist and told me to call him if there are any issues. He did this totally free of charge and said he's not in the business of ripping people off and will only charge for a job that needs doing. Wonderful service from a lovely man. I felt very reassured and he was so, so helpful. Cannot recommend enough!

5* and 10 out of 10 service from Gregg. We faced a tricky situation with rodents having access to our house via our drainage. Gregg was extremely helpful throughout the process to avoid the problems escalating, finding different solutions and being very responsive with the multiple visits required to fully solve the issue. Gregg has helped us on a number of occasions with mole and mice problems. He's a real expert in what he does, with long experience of dealing with all manner of pest infestations. I've always found Gregg to be completely honest, sometimes showing me how to deal with problems myself, and charging reasonable rates when the infestation is clearly something that I can't or don't want to deal with myself. From the very first tentative message this Company were amazing. Had an electrical problem upstairs, electrician came and very kindly told me it looked like we had rats in the attic. We called at 11am as we are having building work and the builders found a wasp nest at front of the house. After our cat brought a young rat in the house, it decided to stay. Living under the kitchen units and within the cavity wall. We could hear it scurrying up and down the wall. We quickly visited our local hardware shop, bought some traps, set them up and waited. Weeks went past and we had no luck in catching the elusive ratty. After weeks of despair, it was time to get the experts in. Protecta pest control services came out that very same day, assessed where the rat was living and the areas it moved about in. Gregg was very knowledgeable, explained about the placement of the traps and assured me 100% the rat would be caught. I am pleased to say that on New year's eve our ratty lodger was caught! This is now the second time I've had to call on Gregg's expertise don't judge me lol. The first time was for a wasps nest under our decking see previous review, this time it was for a rather unwelcome 4 legged visitor rat which had decided that our garden was an appealing place to live. Yet again, Gregg was extremely quick to respond on Boxing Day! Quick to attend, and had dealt with the problem within 4 days and in a humane manner. I really can't speak highly enough of Gregg and the service he offers.

Gregg was very helpful, courteous and efficient in dealing with a large wasp's nest and a potential rodent problem. Gregg responded immediately to our request for help with a rat problem and came later the same day. As it affected a pair of semi- detached houses he offered a discounted price. On the first visit he inspected both houses inside and out and placed bait in the lofts and advised on remedial work. The first visit seem to solve the problem and he made three subsequent visits, always exactly on time, to check for any further problems. He is friendly and you can be confident of his advice and skills. He also observed careful Covid precautions including the use of a face mask and distancing. I am very happy to recommend Gregg.

Being a former Trusted Trader I always search for traders here if I need one. My father in law has had many problems for some time and I have tried to eliminate them for so long but have not managed to. In desperation I rang Gregg and found him to be friendly and reassuring. Gregg arrived at my house to deal with a wasp nest within 2 hours of me contacting him this was on a Sunday too! He had told me the cost upfront and incredibly, it was the same price as the council would have charged but I'd have had to wait at least 5 days for them. The nest was in a very difficult to access area under our decking but Gregg clearly has great experience and had assessed the problem and done the initial treatment within around 20 minutes. I was further impressed by the fact that he then waited for around another 30 minutes to ensure that the problem was resolved, also assuring us that he would come back if for any reason he hadn't managed to deal with the wasps fully. I'm incredibly impressed with the cost and service provided and wouldn't hesitate in recommending DSY Pest Control.

Phoned Greg Saturday morning and he came round in the afternoon, discussed our problem with rats . He checked the garden and sheds and gave his best advice on the best traps not poison, showed us how to bait traps and what to use. We agreed to follow his advice and if we had any problems we would get in touch, he left us a sample trap for free. Very knowledgeable and agreeable would recommend him to anyone.
