John was always prompt, courteous and friendly every time he attended and did everything and more of what we expected. His materials were first class, and the work was carried out in the agreed time scale. Everything was cleared out and removed when he had finished, leaving us with no tidying up to do ourselves. His quoted price was better than anyone else and I honestly cannot fault anything. I will have no problems in recommending him to family and friends and we will definitely be using him again for future work.

A number of years ago JS Landscapes totally reconfigured our rear garden. The work consisted of a large patio, artificial grass and sleepers to create a wide border. The finished product was amazing. On this occasion some of the grouting between the paving slabs needed replacing and the work was again of the highest standard. One other important thing was that all debris was meticulously cleared away. John, many thanks for your attention to detail.

I have used John three times now for a variety of projects ranging from new fencing, earthworks to level then re-turf the lawn, slab paving, block paving and edging, repointing and even troublesome drain repairs. I have found his prices to be very competitive with a high quality of finished work. During the works everything was left tidy and safe at the end of each day, and he and his guys undertook the works with respect to my property. In advance of the works there was good and proactive communication about start dates to ensure I was kept informed and it was convenient for me. Highly recommended from me.

*Customers Feedback* Wasn't going to leave a review, but then John left a snarky comment on Facebook. Now I feel compelled to. Started a month late. Didn't set a line replacing the boundary fence, just eyeballed it. Ended up on the neighbours' land. Had to re-do it - still not great. Screws sticking out all over and splitting the wood. Still, gave them a chance on the patio. Same story - no line, tried to eyeball it, couldn't lay it straight despite multiple attempts. Noticed some odd stains on the slabs, so asked another landscaper working over the road to come have a look. Told me to try pulling up a stone which I, a 52kg female, could by hand because he didn't think they'd bonded. Weren't on a full contact bed like they were supposed to be, causing reflective staining. Brought everything up with John, who said over email 'there have been errors on our part and I fully accept those and will rectify them.' Never happened. Made a date to come fix things, then didn't show. Eventually offered to come back 3 months later to finish part of the job. No thanks. John says he takes pride in his work. Not that we've seen. *Traders Reply* Firstly, at no point have I posted anything on Facebook relating to this work. The fencing in question did cause some issues that we rectified, and both the customer and their neighbour agreed that the fence line and fencing was correct. In relation to the paving, errors were made that I admitted. All paving was taken up to create a blank canvas for us to get it right. However, a date wasn't agreed to 'fix things' as the customer was away for two weeks. I emailed on 18th July, to say that due to family commitments during the holidays we could come back in September to get the paving correct. This is not 3 months, some six weeks at my calculation. Monies, as agreed, were returned to the customer and the only payment received by myself was for the fencing work, which had been 'passed off' at the time of completion. Ultimately, as far as JS Landscapes are concerned, we didn't leave the customer with any work they were unhappy with and therefore they didn't pay for anything that was incorrect or incomplete. An offer was made to correct the problems, which was not taken up by this customer.

We found John very personable. Kept us in touch all the way through. Even told when he couldn't get which is always good to know. Stuart was also very friendly. His prices are good value. Yes I would certainly recommend JS Landscapes

The work carried out, erecting a length of 5' fencing was carried out professionally. The work area was tidied up after completion of work. John and his colleague were most friendly and answered questions put to them honestly. The fencing erected is of good quality.

John did an excellent job in replacing a cracked fence post for me after the recent winds. The removal of the fence post brought to light a cracked plinth that he then had to go and purchase, though only charging me cost price. He was very easy to deal with, arrived promptly and left everything clean and tidy. I would definitely use John again for any similar jobs and would highly recommend him to others.

We cannot recommend John and his colleague Christian highly enough for their professionalism, expertise and hard work in carrying out the work on our new paved area in our back garden. They worked so hard and left the area completely clean and tidy and the end product exceeded all our expectations.

Excellent work, had the paving area re-laid, a fence replaced and some garden steps added. Arrived early each day to start work and tidied everything up before leaving. Garden looks much better, would use again.
