Derbyshire Asbestos Control Ltd is a Chesterfield-based asbestos consultancy and non-licensed asbestos removal company, supporting homeowners, landlords, businesses, contractors and local organisations across Derbyshire and the surrounding areas.
We provide asbestos surveys, sampling, asbestos management advice and safe non-licensed asbestos removal works, helping clients understand their legal responsibilities and manage asbestos safely and cost-effectively.
Our team has over 20 years' combined industry experience and works in line with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and current HSE guidance, including HSG264 for asbestos surveys. All asbestos sample analysis is carried out by independent UKAS-accredited laboratories.
We are proud to be a Derbyshire County Council Trusted Trader and have recently strengthened our compliance systems through additional health and safety approvals and industry training. We hold appropriate insurance cover, are registered as a waste carrier, and use clear procedures, risk assessments and method statements to ensure works are planned and completed safely.

Outstanding company to deal with. Got me out of a real hole when asbestos was discovered, phoned one day and they were out the next morning in torrential rain, removed asbestos which meant job could carry on. Can?t fault the guys. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone, good price as well.

I had a problem with a pipe during a repair. Derbyshire asbestos
where brilliant and came the very next day to remove and dispose of the pipe. This meant that I was able to continue with getting the repairs completed and move back into my home sooner.

The survey and subsequent report were very thorough and comprehensive without being excessively alarmist about potential asbestos on the site. We will definitely continue to use DAC for our ongoing annual inspections and management.
Darren came to do the tests and followed up with treatment
personally. A delightful person. He explained everything to me in detail. Sent me an estimate for the primary test, followed by results and certificate. He gave me advice on options open to me. He came back and did some more work that I requested to seal any problem areas with full backup photo report of what he had done. Money well spent and I thought I had value for money compared with other local companies. I feel more confident about the outcome now. I could not recommend him enough. Nice to meet someone so honest and sincere in this day and age.

We needed some tests done on the artex ceilings in a house we were buying. I spoke to Darren who was helpful and professional. He was able to survey in 48 hours and the results were available 3 days
