I have known Paul since August 2021 and our business relationship and friendship has grown throughout this time. When I was looking for a Financial Advisor to help plan and organise my retirement, I was keen to find someone who would be professional, knowledgeable of the financial market place, a good listener, unafraid of sharing opinions, whilst retaining a friendly air in discussions. I have found all these things to be true of Paul and it is all wrapped up in a reassuring cloak of honesty that bears well in today's financial environment. I have learned that his unassuming nature must not be interpreted as any form of weakness, as behind his somewhat quiet demeanour is an expertise that is the foundation of the services he provides and becomes more and more evident as time progresses. Without Basecamp's help I would not have been able to retire early. Paul, at Basecamp, took the time to understand my financial situation and what I needed and wanted from my money. Paul is keen to define what is important to the client and research how to achieve the optimum outcome. I knew little about pensions and investments, but Paul takes the time to explain terms and pitch suggestions in a way I can understand. He is patient and happy to go over things again either face to face, on the phone or electronically. I know that my pot of money is a small monetary amount, but it is of massive value to me. Paul's work proves my money is his key issue and he treats it as carefully as his own. Paul never sells products but instead creates alternative solutions to discuss. He measures these solutions against my ambitions and beliefs so that we define what is best for me. Paul demonstrated from the outset they are only an email or phone call away. I know I can check up on anything and get a reply. I feel I can trust Basecamp to do what is right for me.
